The Charcoal Grill: An Entrepreneurial Triumph

Embarking on a remarkable entrepreneurial journey that began as a humble stall in a Kota Kemuning coffee shop in 2017, The Charcoal Grill has undergone a remarkable transformation, now standing as a full-fledged restaurant located at 28-1, Jln Anggerik Vanilla BE 31/BE, Kota Kemuning, 40460 Shah Alam, Selangor. As one of their patrons from the early stall days, I have always appreciated their grilled platters, particularly the succulent lamb chops. Recently, together with my other half-half, we dined in to experience their expanded offerings and revamped ambiance.

Entering the restaurant at 7:20 pm, nearly at full capacity, the wait tested our patience. With the bustling crowd, we anticipated our food would take at least 10 minutes to arrive. Yet, the savory anticipation heightened our culinary excitement, making the eventual feast all the more rewarding. Navigating their well-set-up, cozy ambiance, unlike their limited stall selection, the restaurant concept offered a diverse menu. Choosing proved challenging.

My other half-half opted for Grilled Lamb Chops with add-ons like Tuna Salad and Handmade Mashed Potatoes. Torn between the Pork Burger and Grilled Pork Chops, I eventually settled for Grilled Pork Chops, accompanied by Sour Cream Baked Potato and Caesar Salad add-ons. For drinks, given the filling nature of the meals, especially considering my small appetite, we chose plain water over juices and drinks offered (Total Bill Amount: RM95.00)

The wait, though a bit lengthy, was worthwhile as our delicious meal arrived. Both the lamb chops as well as pork chops were grilled to utter perfection, featuring soft meat that required no struggle in cutting and chewing. Pork chops with pork fats on the sides, and my love for pork fats, made it an even more cherished meal. Handmade mashed potatoes, creamy and luscious, and tuna salad, with its bit of tanginess and crispy salad leaves, were raved about by both of us.

The sour cream baked potatoes, especially since I love sour cream, provided a heavenly, soft bite, and the Caesar salad was sincerely appreciated. Rest assured, the tastes from their stall days were retained, and the young team of staff serving us made our dining experience meaningful.

Served by the young team of staff, they too made our dining experience a meaningful one. Kudos to the three guys who started as a humble stall, and being a businesswoman myself, I am so proud of their growth. Way to go to the male entrepreneurs. My sincere blessings to more success. You guys shine, you guys rock. This growth journey of The Charcoal Grill fills me with pride as a businesswoman, showcasing the rewards of dedication and passion.

May their success inspire others in their entrepreneurial endeavors, as they continue to shine and evolve on this inspiring path. Cheers to growth, perseverance, and the unwavering spirit of entrepreneurship!
