Bread Pizza Recipe

It’s not just about saving near-expiry bread slices; it’s about waste-not cooking. While this recipe features daun kaduk (Thai betel leaves), you can use other affordable local herbs.

This pizza uses canned tuna with its oil, Thai betel leaves, red onion, and red chili. It’s a kid-friendly pizza, with or without chilies.  Apart from, choosing to add cheese or go cheese-free. Simple, quick, and endlessly customizable (MARBLE CAKE). 


Ingredients for Bread Pizza

4 to 6 bread slices

1 small can of tuna in oil

Some daun kaduk (Thai betel leaves)-  thinly sliced

1 large red onion - thinly sliced

1 red chili - thinly sliced

Grated cheese - as needed

Salt and pepper - to taste

Bread pizza topping ingredients. Can of tuna in oil, Thai betel leaves, chopped onion, red chilli, salt and pepper.

How to Make Bread Pizza
Add all the ingredients to a bowl, including the oil from the tuna.
Toss and mix everything together.
Spread the tuna mixture evenly on each bread slice.
Bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle cheese over the top.
