Fried Prawn Wontons

eight pieces of wonton skins, with seasoned prawn filling, crispy fried.
Just out of the hot oil and wok, these fried prawn wontons have a sensational crispy skin with a seasoned prawn filling inside. They crunch and crumble delightfully in your mouth, leaving every bite utterly satisfying.

Though maybe not exactly the same as traditional dim sum, this crispy snack can easily be part of a dim sum meal. There are also steamed wontons, filled with pork or chicken (HONG KONG WONTON NOODLE SOUP).

Making them is really easy. Unless you want to get into making wonton skins yourself, the best option is to buy them. They’re widely available and affordable. The main focus is preparing the prawn filling, which can range from simple to slightly elaborated.

Adding thinly sliced carrots, chives, and spring onions elevates fried wontons to a whole new level of deliciousness (STEAMED FISH CHINESE STYLE).

10 medium-sized prawns- de-veined, shelled, and chopped
