Bangkok, Thailand: A Journey of Temples and Wax Celebrities

Starting my Bangkok trip on a Monday morning without any prior room booking (Chonburi To Pattaya), I hitched a ride with my friend's colleague. Upon arrival, I attempted to secure a room at the lobby but was informed of no availability due to the year-end holiday season. Thankfully, the receptionist kindly recommended the Pathumwan Princess Hotel. Thankfully, I managed to book a room for 2 nights. The security measures at the hotel entrance put me at ease as I entered my room, greeted by comfort, and elegance.

After a brief respite, curiosity led me downstairs to stumble upon a travel agency nestled within the hotel lobby. Intrigued, I wandered in, only to be met with a curious question: why was I traveling solo? And thus, my journey truly commenced. Opting for a half-day tour of Bangkok's renowned temples, I followed the staff's suggestion to grab a quick lunch bite at the adjacent MBK Shopping Mall before being picked up by the tour guide.

Corporate Yoga: Cultivating Mental Well-being

Welcome to the challenging world of corporate life, where meeting targets, handling stress, and navigating through daily pressures are part of the routine. As you progress in your career, stress tends to mount, compounded by the demands of work and the hassles of commuting. In such a fast-paced environment, finding time for self-care, like Zen yoga, may seem like a distant dream. Unexpected work changes, looming deadlines, or traffic snarls can easily disrupt your plans for relaxation.

But fret not. Organizations now recognize the significance of work-life balance and invest in activities to support their employees. This is where Corporate Yoga steps in. Unlike traditional yoga, Corporate Yoga adapts ancient practices to fit modern lifestyles. It's a crucial aspect of overall wellness, promoting a sustainable way of living (Beyond Yoga Poses).

Malay Style Prawn Noodles/Mee Udang

Let's chat about food and how it fits into our busy lives. Nowadays, it's pretty common to eat out because, let's face it, everyone's hustling, especially women who are not just holding down jobs but climbing the career ladder too. Kudos to them! But here's the snag: there's hardly any time left for cooking at home. Some folks have helpers or live-in moms taking care of the kitchen duties, but for others, it's all about ordering in, which can get pricey. Even kiddos, as young as 10, are pros at hitting up food delivery apps. Weekends often mean dining out, and this lack of home-cooked meals might explain why health issues, like obesity, are creeping up among the young ones who just can't resist good grub.

Chonburi to Pattaya (Thailand): Ms. Nava's First Solo Travel and Beyond

Back from my very first trip abroad (Milan), can you believe it? Within just two months (Rome), I found myself on my first solo adventure. It wouldn't have happened without my girlfriend, who was at Amata Golf & Country Club in Chonburi, Thailand, organizing a golf tournament. She was amazing. Without her, I wouldn't have even considered traveling alone, especially for the first time. I owe her so much. But it's heartbreaking to think she's no longer here. She passed away a few years ago from breast cancer, in her early 50s. I miss her till this day. I was there for her through everything, from her chemotherapy to her funeral. It still brings tears to my eyes.

But let's put that aside for a moment. I booked my flight to Bangkok, and my hub saw me off at the check-in. I was shaking with nerves as I went through the procedures. Basically following others, and made it in one piece on board.

"Como, Lugano, and Milan: Lakeside Escapes and Urban Adventures

The final stretch of my 9-day Italian adventure (Verona) marked another chapter of exploration, beginning with a visit to the stunning Lake Como, nestled cozily in the embrace of Lombardy. The moment I laid eyes on its tranquil waters, I was utterly captivated. We took our time, strolling leisurely along the shoreline, capturing each moment with our cameras and basking in the peaceful atmosphere. The morning breeze was crisp, sending shivers down my spine, but thankfully, my trusty scarf came to the rescue. While I was wrapped up like a mummy, the others seemed unaffected, lost in the beauty of the lake.
