 Ingredients for Creamed Spinach

1 bunch Brazilian spinach - rinsed

7 shallots - peeled

½ tbsp turmeric powder

½ cup coconut milk 

Fresh chillies  - as needed 

Some curry leaves

Calamansi lime juice  - to taste

Salt - to taste

Water - as needed

 

How to Make Creamed Spinach

Add spinach, shallots, and water to a wok.

Cook until softened. 

Add turmeric powder and salt.

Mash all the ingredients together. 

Pour in coconut milk.

Add chillies, curry leaves, and lime juice.

Stir and simmer.

Switch off the heat.
