Easy? Yes easy. Easy mutton curry and mutton curry by this Indian lady must be the Indian version right? Potentially. Of course there are other various types of mutton curries (Mutton Pepper Masala, Mutton Dalca, Mutton Kurma & Mutton Parathal) from other parts of the world or mutton curry by other races. For me personally, my mutton curry generally, as I have already told, must be the Indian me. Mutton or lamb (Lamb Burgers, Lamb Pho & Malaysian Lamb Stew) should then perhaps can be the next question? It cuts both ways for us. Mutton or lamb (Malaysian Lamb Curry Noodles & Lamb Kofta Curry), both goes. But if I am to pick one, it has to be mutton. Mutton which is a tough meat. Mutton from our Malaysian ground is tough. So? Unless you are absolutely sure the mutton you have bought can be cooked till tender without a pressure cooker, (Mutton Varuval, Pepper Mutton Curry & Masala Mutton Curry) you should go ahead. I however can't say the same unless maybe if its the minced ready made version (Mutton Keema). Today's mutton curry? As I have already said, easy me, easy you, easy everyone. Store bought curry powder and those ingredients we have it at home. Easy Mutton Curry. Nope. Nothing is compromised. It is still those spicy bold flavours mutton curry.

Eggs Benedict - My Malaysian Way
Kids these days? I really don't know what to say. Even their parents I think can't comprehend either why their kids fuss about food (Vegetarian Chow Mein & Lamb Kofta Curry). You tell me? I am actually lost for answers. Their parents on the other hand are good in laying out the terms and conditions on what their kids eat or not, but if you ask why they don't eat certain things? Parents? Those parents? They can't relate. Of course, they must defend thier kids? Their adorable darlings who, some of the time trust me, can bring the roof down when they are asked to try a new dish (Salted Egg Chicken). Unbelievable. But when fast food is a concern, oh-my-my. Fried chicken and burgers (Easy Chicken Kebab, Grilled Chicken Wings & Lamb Burger)? Do I have to potentially utter any single word? What about eggs? Am I wrong if I say most kids love eggs (Egg Fish Roll, Egg Rasam & Tea Eggs)? Correct me if I am wrong. A simple egg fried rice (Anchovies Long Beans Fried Rice)? I think should be okay? Then again, its also subjective to how egg is presented to them (Egg Gado Gado, Egg Curry Masala, Bean Sprouts Omelette & Tofu Scrambled Eggs)? Having said that, I think egg is still, as far as I know, a safe bet (Fried Egg With Oyster Sauce & Egg Potato Curry). How about this Eggs Benedict? Right. Maybe you should omit the chillies? Other than that, I believe Eggs Benedicts will be loved by our kids and most of us. Of course, this is the tweeted version and must be a Malaysian version for me right?

Vegetarian Chow Mein
Let's not even speak about the huge, humongous collection to various styles and types of Chow Mein. Aplenty mind you. In fact, spilling over crazily. To believe me, do the search in the virtual world. I bet you will be confused which recipe you should nail. Even for the vegetarian Chow Mein mind you. Did I peep or slyly steal other people's recipes? Neh? Whatever for? When we have decided to use our previously gained experiences in our kitchen (Vegetarian Fried Bee Hoon, Mee Rebus Vegetarian, Chinese Vegetarian Noodle Soup, Mee Rojak Vegetarian, Curry Mee Vegetarian & Vegetarian Mee Hoon). So, I say none further except introduce Vegetarian Chow Mein to you right now at this juncture. I believe egg noodles and egg by itself may be a restraining order for some vegetarians? Whereas others are super fine? To the pure vegetarians, switch to wheat noodles and obviously, don't crack the egg. Vegetarian Chow Mein is a truthful bridge to a healthy noodle dish.

Baked Rice Pudding
Brings back memories. Mum and her Indian rice pudding. The one, all ingredients in one and over the stove making rice pudding (Pineapple Bread Pudding). Mothers those days? Have you realise they like the overdosing of sugar into desserts? By Far. As far as I know (Marble Cake, Chocolate Rum Tart & Poached Pears In Citrus Syrup). Indeed. And of course rice, we Indians I think are one of the biggest consumers of rice. In fact, I am one of them. Rice is my love. Forever (Jeera/Cumin Rice, Lemon Cashew Rice, Rice Congee With Condiments & Anchovies Fried Rice). When left over rice is a concern, generally, the recipes I have already attached are the indicators to our, one of it, one of our fav Malaysian dish. Nasi Goreng or Fried Rice. But not necessarily must be. You can, trust me, believe me, make this Baked Rice Pudding from leftover cooked white rice. Yes. I did it. What should hold you back? Nonetheless, I decided it should be the baked version instead of over the stove like my mums. Pretty much I think we need the common ingredients and cherries? They are so lovely. Prettiness for a simple deco right?

Grapefruit Sangria
Avoiding stress in this current era I think is impossible. Oh well, definitely impossible, such is the call of life because it is not anymore about simplicity or being contented with what we have. We want to strive, we want to excel and we want to have better of everything. Perhaps it may not be about striving but working hard to provide the best for the family I know is unavoidable. Nonetheless, we do have the option to take it easy especially during the weekends by slouching in front of tv to catch up on a movie and sip into a boozy drink. But instead of drowning with alcohol, Sangria is a better option. And today, let me share with you how to make this Sangria with grapefruit juice, ice cream soda and mint leaves - just so easy and simple.

Mushroom Veggie Burger
Possible or impossible? Possible. What is possible? Vegetarian Burger and Mushroom Veggie Burger. I have already made. Henceforth, I can affirm. We can of course make vegetarian burger (Vegetarian Fried Mee Hoon, Drumstick Sambar, Mee Rebus Vegetarian, Spinach Tofu Stir Fry & Creamy Coconut Lentil Curry). Various types, various styles, your style and my style? I think veggie burger out of mushroom is (Mushroom Rolls)? Not those expensive shrooms. Not the portobello. Nope. You can actually make mushroom burger from canned button mushrooms. Yes, you can. I did it for this Mushroom Veggie Burger, why can't or shouldn't you (Vegetarian Sandwich)? Chop the shrooms, chop to the finest point or pulse in the blend before making and then grilling the mushroom patties. After which into grilled burger buns (Lamb Burgers) and assembled alongside pickled onion and, as much as much, as many veggies (Gado Gado, Chinese Vegetarian Noodle Soup & Cucumber Yogurt Salad) and sauces as well. Anything else you are doubting?

Sichuan Noodle Soup
Sichuan Noodle Soup! Yep. Obviously. The dish for the day on this particular day. Why and how and where did the recipe originate from (Sichuan Chilli Prawns)? Honestly, to tell you the truth, I did some search and popped up a couple of recipes. The popularity had to the beef version and maybe two or three to chicken as one of the main ingredients. But, like I have already told you before, beef is definitely a taboo for Indians like us and chicken is the other my other half-half won't put his mouth to. Henceforth, I made the prawn variant (Devilled Prawns, Tamarind Prawn Curry & Bitter Gourd Prawn Curry). Of course its also the usual story to using prawn heads and shells for the broth and as for the rest of ingredients (Malaysian Spicy Sour Fish Noodle Soup, Mee Rebus, Penang Assam Laksa, Bee Hoon Soup & Thai Fish Noodle Soup), whichever and whatever you feel will be in tandem for Sichuan Noodle Soup. However, crucially, for any Sichuan Noodle Soup for the matter, or most probably, the broth must be spicy (Penang Hokkien Mee)? Of course if you are asking me. Chilli paste made and tipped into the soup. Thereafter, all you got to is assemble. Yellow noodles, fish ball, prawns, lettuce leaves and broth ladled over and coriander leaves and spring onion garnished ( Malaysian Fried Mee). Tempting right?

Vegetarian Fried Bee Hoon
Walla! Don't you seriously think this version, my version of Vegetarian Fried Bee Hoon is a revelation of red hue and a huge package to how a Chinese style fried bee hoon should potentially be? I don't know about you, I personally think this Vegetarian Fried Mee Hoon is an impact. Impact to my cooking invention and impact to utilising the quintessential and customary Chinese ingredients. Shouldn't I then be proud? Invention from nava-k's kitchen, of course we have already tried, tested and devoured into, furthermore, Vegetarian Fried Bee Hoon is now listed amongst the rest of the vegetarian noodle dishes I have already showcased to you (Mee Rebus Vegetarian, Chinese Vegetarian Noodle Soup, Mee Rojak Vegetarian & Curry Mee Vegetarian). Vegetarian Fried Bee Hoon - black bean paste, mushroom, cabbage, dried chilli paste, garlic and spring onion. In case you feel its a bit too much to handle, your other option can be the other Vegetarian Mee Hoon. Bye foodies, see you next time!

Hanoi - Vietnam (My Tour Adventure)
From Halong Bay to Hanoi. In fact, the previous day itself for arriving in Hanoi by 8.00pm. Nothing much for the day (Siem Reap Cambodia). Impossible right by this hour? We had dinner and of course, we were told we can check out the shops within the vicinity of our hotel (Angkor Wat)l. I think some of the tour buddies did, but not me. I showered and since wifi was hell in my room despite me paying, I had no choice but to sit at the cramped up lobby for internet connection. For an hour and then, back to my room for good night everyone (Ho Chi Minh City). Next morning, by 9.00am, standing in the snaking queue for entering Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Cold weather literally shivering me and oh-god! The rules before entering Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum? No camera, no hand-phone or switch off your phone, no laptop, handbags screened, hands by your side and no talking. Basically, no picture or video taking and silence must be golden. Then what once you walk in? At the riffles of the guards who stood like robots throughout and you taking less than 5 minutes for seeing HO Chih Minh lying in state before walking out. That's all? Yep. That's all. Honestly, I can't tell you if it's the original Ho Chi Minh or his wax. And so strict rules for seeing him or his wax? Duh! Glad I saw though nothing really like me feeling overwhelmed.

Halong Bay (Vietnam) - Nature Wonder Of The World
Really. Really really early morning jump start. By 7.00am if I am not mistaken and the earliest so far for a matter of fact. Breakfast in hotel before the long drive to Halong Bay (Siam Reap Cambodia). Of course, in between we taking a couple of comfort breaks and lunch as well, but basically, putting our butts in the coach throughout the day (Angkor Wat & Ho Chi Minh City). I guess then, best will be catching up on our sleep for ditching aside tiredness which trust me has already accumulated. Tiredness due to action packed sightseeing for the last few days. Did I sleep? I sure did. Me catching up on my sleep or sleep catching up on me, whichever, and while on our way to Halong Bay, rain shelling heavily. Thus, driver slowly down his speed to driving and prior to us arriving in the hotel by 9.00pm, followed by dinner immediately and heading to our respective rooms.

Easy Chicken Kebab
Literally. Many much more and aplenty dishes can be created with chicken? Of course. Stop doubting me neither you should doubt yourself. Its a fact. Any which chicken part for any which chicken dish you want (Indian Chicken Curry, Chinese Black Vinegar Chicken, Curry Chicken Noodles & Chicken Wanton Soup). You name it, we can by far have it. However, it all depends on you. Whether you are dependent on the same dishes over and over again, or you are willing to give a go to something new or different (Salted Egg Chicken, Grilled Chicken Wings, Butter Chicken, Chicken Vegetable Soup & Sweet Chilli Chicken)? Which cooking direction I am taking you to right now? Chicken, easy and grilling. Easy, as you know is me. Even as a person I am easy going and when its my cooking, do I have to speak any further (Baked Cornflakes Chicken, Braised Chicken Feet, Curried Roast Chicken, Spicy Fried Wings & Chicken Varuval). Grilling? Not open grilling, rather in the over the stove portable grill. Moreover, I don't think you will struggle in getting the ingredients. If you can't get lemongrass, perhaps return back to the conventional metal skewers or those wood skewers will do. And finally, what should I say? Pair this Easy Chicken Kebab alongside, I have given you the option to Spicy Mashed Potatoes. Otherwise, its really up to you.

Siem Reap, Cambodia - Let's Explore Together
Siem Reap. Like I have already told you, the main highlight in Siem Reap? Must do. Must explore. Must experience. Angkor Wat. Otherwise, don't bother coming this far or near from wherever you are. What else can you embark on in Siem Reap? Maybe, best will be me sharing what we did in Siem Reap and then, you can decide if you want to opt for the same (Ho Chi Minh City). Our day starting on the same note, hotel buffet breakfast, followed by. Artisan d’Angkor. Artisan d'Angkor. Set up as a social responsibility form for lending support for the underprivileged boys and girls. Training them on hand skills for ensuring they can positively move forward in life now and forever.

Angkor Wat (Siem Reap, Cambodia) - Ultimate Grandest
Last night’s
dinner hunger story (Ho
Chi Minh City)? Hellish! I don't even want to talk about. Cramping bus loads of tourists in one specific, no doubt a spacious space, for buffet and cultural show thrown in. Madness. Hardly any space for even pulling out your chair and standing in the queue amongst the hungry like wolves, all walk of life humans? Not my scene. Not at all. Pushing, rushing and waiting, as though you are begging for free meal. I ate so little and I quickly left. To my room within five minutes walk, I showered and to curb my hunger, a hot cuppa of coffee, before literally forcing sleep over me.

Lamb Kofta Curry
Mutton or lamb? Tough question. For us personally, both goes. Both, mutton (Mutton Keema & Masala Mutton Curry) and lamb cuts both ways. Meaning, in other words, we don't mind either one. Of course, we Indians, don't you think we prefer mutton (Mutton Kurma, Mutton Dalca & Mutton Pepper Masala)? You bet. I had a tough call as well for this kofta curry. Should I use mutton or lamb (Malaysian Lamb Curry Noodles & Malaysian Lamb Stew). In the end, I settled for lamb (Lamb Burgers & Lamb Fried Rice). Why, are you asking me? Minced lamb on this particular day was easier availability and I didn't want to do the mutton (Mutton Parathal & Mutton Soup) mincing on my own. Honestly, for someone like me who like to be in my kitchen for the shortest time, I as you know am an easy home cook, I really can't be bothered with mincing. Of course, I agree when minced meat is an overall concern, what about the ratio to meat and fats? Therefore, you decide while I get moving to this Lamb Kofta Curry. Kofta? I think I have already told you (Indian Mutton Meatball Soup & Chicken Meatball Soup)? Vibrant and salivating simmering curry made from a mixture of spices, and kofta gently dropped inside.

Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) - Let's Explore Together
My first ever solo travel (Bangkok Thailand Part 2 & Chonburi). Tadaa! I did it. I sure did. A proud moment of mine. In fact, one of the most proudest by far in my entire life. Me daring myself to travelling alone (Ayutthaya). Thereafter? On the go again. Thanks to the insights, mainly on courage and ditching aside fear I have already picked up. But not as in solo, solo again. I actually joined a tour group. Where to? Vietnam & Cambodia by paying more compared to the stated amount due to single room occupant. Otherwise, everything else being equal and square. Same package basically. The day arrived and off to the airport where tour guide was already on stand-by, and before going up in the air for landing in Tan Son Nhat airport, followed by to Liberty Central Hotel for our one night stay. At this juncture, friendship ice-berg still at it rawness. Meaning? Friendship water has not been broken though we did smile at each other and after collecting our keys, off to our respective rooms. My room. Sincerely. A comfort zone. Nothing to complain about. Simple yet elegant. Spic and span, and ample space for me, myself and I.
