A no-fuss, quick Thai food, and with store bought tom yum paste, its truly a quick fried rice, ready within most to most 15 minutes, including for the versions like chicken fried rice, or seafood rice or just prawns.
Even a vegetarian fried rice is possible for a Thai Fried Rice, as the flavorful tom yum paste does it all.
Vegetable options can vary as well, mainly
leafy green vegetables, or cauliflower, carrot and mushrooms too. This recipe
features prawns, Brazilian spinach, onion for the sweet, sharp and crunch contrast,
while chillies are the signature for Thai food (THAI STEAMED FISH). All quickly fried, the hearty, delicious
fulfilling Thai fried rice.
Not to forget, one way of using leftover
cooked white rice, which works best for any type of fried rice. All of these captured

1 packet
store-bought tom yam paste
3 cups cooked
leftover white rice
6 medium sized
prawns - cleaned and leave the tail on
2 medium - sized
red onions - sliced
1 bunch
Brazilian spinach
Some kaffir lime leaves - tear into pieces
Bird's eye chilies to taste
Salt to taste
3 tbsp oil
How to Make Thai Fried Rice
Heat oil and fry prawns till half cooked
Add rice and tom yam paste.
Stir all the ingredients together.
Add onions, spinach, and salt.
Stir a few more times and remove from heat.
To serve (optional): Top with a fried egg.
