Beans come in various types - French beans, long beans, snow beans, and frozen green peas, all affordable and ideal for home-style cooking. For this recipe, it’s long beans, but other types work just as well. Greens make for a healthy dish, even if achieving authentic wok hei at home is difficult (QUICK CHINESE VEGETABLE STIR-FRY).
Szechuan-style stir-fries follow similar techniques, though some ingredients may vary. For Chinese food, it must be mentioned that sesame oil and peanut oil is worth the investment, as they add extra depth and aroma.
All in all, this recipe is about cooking a delicious Chinese-style beans stir-fry at home. Also a vegetarian, 100% plant-based recipe (VEGETARIAN BAK KUT TEH/HERBS SOUP).
