Lakme Absolute White Intense Wet & Dry Compact (Beige Honey)

Wait. Can you wait? Thank you. I'm not done yet with my Lakme love. Guess what was in store for me after I picked up Lakme 9 to 5 Lip & Cheek Color & Botaneco Trio Oil Body Lotion? Honestly, not something I expected. Not at all. Like they always say, expect the unexpected when you least expect, Lakme SA walked up to me and handed over this Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact. Seriously everyone, I went like, oh-wow, oh-my. Alright, alright, I get it. I hear you. Obviously I'm aware it’s just a tester. So what? Why shouldn’t I pinch myself? It’s a new, untouched, unspoiled virgin compact. All I had to do is get the casing. But I didn't. Whatever for? I am not one of those vein-pots who can't hold themselves from powdering in the public, and this compact, call it a two way cake or dual purpose powder if you want, I think is still well secured in the rather study plastic casing for avoiding dust from travelling inside. The best part of it all, it came with the same velvet black pouch you will get when you purchase a new one.
Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact
Your 3 in 1 skin care regime is now a beautiful and long lasting affair with this one of a kind wet and dry compact.

Description
The dual Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact contains a unique formula of Hyaluronic acid hydrates which restores the natural glow and Vitamin B3 acts as the fairness agent. Use it dry as a compact and wet as a foundation to look naturally fair and flawless.

Application
Step 1: Take some compact on a powder puff. Shake the puff to remove any excess powder.
Step 2: Wipe your face with the compact puff in long, even strokes. The strokes should move from the inside, to the outside.
Step 3: Wet it if you want to use it like a foundation base.
Step 4: Even apply it all over your face. Don’t forget your neck area

Lakme Absolute White Intense Wet And Dry Compact for me personally is akin a polished, sparkling, cutting both ways, edgy diamond for enlivening my complexion. As a dry compact, without a doubt, it gives me a natural finishing. To apply, can you please for one listen to me? I think you should stop confusing yourself neither get carried away by believing the beauty wise cracks who make it sound as though its the most confusing thing to do. Trust me, you better, there are no hard and soft rules. Swipe the puff which picks up a decent amount and apply for a full coverage. You are done. But prior prepping your face is a must. Moisturise, additionally, go ahead, apply sunblock if you feel SPF 17 UVA/UVB is not a fair deal for our Malaysian merciless sun and if your skin is like mine, easily pigmentation prone, better sunblock save than never. Eye cream is the other must essential, I am sure you are aware?
Smooth, soft and blending effortlessly, Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact  is a perfect fit on my face for providing adequate coverage. Dusting off excess powder with a big brush does not work for me, nor can I be bothered because seldom is my fault to over-applying. Of course unless I am embarrass of my natural skin tone or I want to compete with the opera singers. Having said that, I can count the number of times I have used Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact as a dry compact. In other words,  I have been mostly using it as a flawless canvas by wetting the puff before applying and once I am face proud satisfied, I stop with building it further.
Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact as far as I know has not messed up my skin. No breakouts, neither does it dry up my combination sensitive skin. However, I can't vouch whether the same is applicable to your dry or oily skin. Furthermore, can we get one thing straight? Lets accept the reality that no compact, correct me if I am wrong, can stay put picture beauty us well the moment we sweat. I am definitely a hero to sweating for no apparent reason. So, touching up is necessary if I choose to. I also suggest you test the shades. If I am not mistaken, there's only limited choices, though I really can't confirm, maybe three shades the most. Testing the tester I reckon is a big no-no because the last thing we want is spreading other people's germs on our face, a better option definitely is testing on your hands, and I am certain Lakme SA's will be on stand by to help you out. Conclusively, I must mention that Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact is my go-to powder. Not at all a let down. Bottom line, I love it.

  3. Do you think Indian brands are really missing out on the shade range? I get that a lot from Lakme offlate. I wanted to try this compact but couldn't find a shade that worked on me.

  4. The compact looks nice and natural on you.. Brands saying gimmicky stuff abt wet n dry.. Well using it with a wet sponge gives a little more coverage but can be drying.. using it as a compact dry is best and u are right prepping the skin is a must before any powder or foundation application
