Annie's Way Arbutin + Hyaluronic Brightening Jelly Mask

No, no. Not your way. Not my way. Neither our grandma's beauty way. It’s Annie’s Way. Who is Annie by the way? I don’t know. I only know that Annie’s Way Arbutin and Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Jelly Mask I bought at Sasa Sunway Pyramid (RM71.00) is made in Taiwan. Should also be available in other Sasa outlets, this mask amongst Annie’s other types of masks was suggested since I was only keen in a creamy or jelly mask. I said yes! Why not? Sounded price worthy for lightening (TheBalm timeBalm) my not so obvious dark patches below my mouth area, hopefully it will also put a tip top look on my top-to-toe overall beauty I've been paranoid as in to gear up and down for the family wedding (more at MaybellineLipstick). That on my side, to all you ladies in the same boat, the "age boat" we are sailing through our fifties beauty zone, hop on board ladies. Trend alongside “beauty with nava-k” to find out if this mask can be your beauty elegance.

Product Description
Infused with Arbutin and Hyaluronic Acid, this jelly mask is formulated to capture and purify whiten melanin formed under the skin, leaving skin radiant and bright. With its deep cleansing and whitening formula, it is touted to reduce fine lines on the skin. For best effect, use Annie’s Way Arbutin + Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Jelly Mask regularly to increase skin clarity and hydration level. For a weekly pampering session, spread a dollop evenly on cleansed and toned face and leave on for 30 minutes before scraping off, wipe face with tissue after removing mask and rinse thoroughly with water.

Filled to the rim in a chubby pearly white tub and with a plastic lid secured between the twistable cover, Annie’s Arbutin & Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Jelly Mask is packaged in an attractive cardboard box alongside a spatula. To use, scoop a good bitsy of this clear, thick, gooey and mildly scented mask to spread on your entire face. The scent I doubt is bothersome, upon application, its cooling formula will in no way bite or itch, but you do feel it mildly gripping your face. No worries. To remove, I just couldn't figure out the head or tail how the scrapping works. Honestly, I still don't despite piling a thick layer. So, instead of forcefully scrapping as not to hurt my skin, I wet my hands in warm water and really massage in circular motion to loosen the mask. Thereafter, generously splash and rinse with warm water prior to patting my face dry (akin the Suisse Programme CellularRevitalizing Eye Mask).

Suffice to say, Annie's Way Arbuting & Hyaluronic Brightening Jelly Mask (L'Oreal Hydrafresh Night Mask) did wake me up. It lightened my dark patches. It brightened my skin. Unfortunately, it didn't remove my black heads but made it easier for extracting them gently with cotton pad. Additionally, it did softened my forehead fine lines which by the way are not really prominent, That too after using for the third time. Also, to finish the whole tub of this mask within 6 months doesn't seem right. How? Tell me please Annie? Even if I use twice in a week, seriously, I doubt, unless I force my other half to masking. Nevertheless, I must thank Annie for locking in a "ready, steady, go" hydration for the next 3 days. Even though this mask is recommended for dark and dry skin, trust me, it worked pretty decently on my olive, sensitive and combination skin (Garnier Peel Off Mask & Skinfood Black Sugar Mask).
So, ladies, having spilled the insights to Annie’s Way Arbutin & Hyaluronic Brightening Jelly Mask, I won't force it on you.To believe, I always believe it is your experience over mine. Let me know. I am all ears. Until we meet again with another beauty review, stay positive by holding “beauty with nava-k” close to your heart. Bye!!
