What did Nava K do next once her mouth, throat and tummy had heartily tucked into the array of food in Taste Enclave Classic Pavilion? She decided to walk Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. After all, she, yes its me alright, I think this is my first ever in this shopping mall. Look, I'm being honest. Thus, I thought I might as well for the next an hour wash my eyes on the retail outlets, albeit, confirmed, I can't afford any of the designer brands. Of course, Guardian Pharmacy is affordable for poor people like me. Guardian, by the way is my favourite store where I pick up my beauty products. Pavilion Guardian definitely carries aplenty more stuffs compared to the one in my neighbourhood. Walking inside, honestly, I literally went bongus. Bongus, mind you. You know me and beauty skin care craziness? Oh-my! The first brand that caught my eyes was non other except Lakme. Lakme! Believe me. An unforgettable brand. Wow! How can I forget Lakme. I practically grew with Lakme during my early twenties. Such a major sensation amongst the Indian women and upcoming women like me once Lakme hit our shore. Lakme, those years was of a similar marketing concept like Avon. Basically, its a direct selling brand. Sign up as a dealer, you will be given samples, thereafter, its you and closing sales for incentives.
The most sought after products of Lakme were lipsticks, eye glitter simmer dusts and eye liners. You should have seen my collection. Those red, maroon and dark lippies. Loved all of it. A fit perfect for Indian skin. We, my friends and myself, due to our undivided Lakme love, we even went to the extent of attending Ms Lakme contest. Glitz and glam fun ballroom night. Subsequently, unfortunately, over the years, Lakme died a natural death. Brand disappeared for whatever reason it may have been. We too move on to other brands. Lately, it came to my attention that Lakme is sprint running again. I definitely notice its comeback in Pavilion Guardian. Sadly though, counter was practically bare. Not much products. Still, I was adamant in picking up at least a lipstick. Thank god, I managed to grab this Lakme Enrich Satin "427". Absolutely my favorite color. Red Maroon/Burgundy.
Housed in a usual lipstick casing, attractive no doubt, I have no qualms with it's faint smell. What is there to dispute anyway? After all, I love how it sits on my pout. Color is so good on me. Its a wonder color. Soft, creamy and luscious, Lakme Enrich Satin Lip Color glides smoothly and effortlessly and delivers full coverage, Bright, get-noticed hue by leaving me glossy and shiny. Highly pigmented, a single swipe is good enough for perking me up. Of course, for an intense and prowl look, go ahead beauties. Swipe two more more layers which I think will be a beauty totality for special occasions. You can also further boldly enhanced it with a breeze of glitter gloss.
Looks like I have blown major positive points on Lakme Enrich Satin Lip Color till this far. Anything I have to say on what I don't fancy? Nothing much actually. I think those standard things about most lipsticks are color slowly fading off once we tuck into a meal, or color leaving us naturally after the first few hours. Additionally, remember, no lipstick can last for the whole day. Oh, oh, I did attempt in being a selfie queen. Picture of me, myself and I below speaks for itself. Selfie definitely is not my forte, I don't think I did a good job too, but I told myself that I must show you on how Lakme "477" is happy on me and vice-versa. Happy trying beauties (Maybelline Color Sensation Red Porcelain, Laura Mercier Brilliant Lip Gloss & Revlon Balm Tint).
