We however, over the many donkey years, have cut down on frequenting Cravings. Not because we are anti-cravings, but because of the coffee shops which have sprouted for offering cheaper choices. Additionally, I especially have massively cut down on booze. This trip to Cravings came about due to listening friendship purpose towards the friend who is like dashing to hell with her sets of problems. Then again, we too sometimes can be hit bashed by endless problems? Me as well, I admit. Anyhow, we stepped foot in Cravings for an early dinner, of course alcohol means its easier to spill all of the frustrating beans without no holds barred. To kick start, we sipped into the German Beer, thereafter, from the tattered menu, really, tattered, have a look and you will definitely agree its about time menu is upgraded, to at least a basic Iphone. Pink tape or whatever, maybe pink stabilo, or only god knows how they did it, pink striking aside some of the items.
We managed, regardless of the sad case menu and regardless we have already sipped into half a glass of beer. We ordered. We awaited for "Spaghetti Aglio-Olio" and "Grilled Pepper Chicken".
Tender, charred on the outside and soft bite inside grilled pepper chicken, served with darkest brown sauce, fries and coleslaw, Grilled Pepper Chicken similarly was an appreciated complete meal. I wholeheartedly accepted it, chicken especially, but the sauce was quite a "namby-pamby". Didn't go down well for me, not for dipping or lathering on the chicken. So, logically, my wise choice was asking for chilli sauce which did a major justice. Coleslaw too kept me happy.
By the next 20 minutes or so, food was cleared, washed down with the balance of the beer. Coaxing my friend for another bottle, sadly didn't echo on "one for the road". How sad for me, myself and I, just when I am slowly being lifted to tipsy paradise. Having said that, I could understand my friend's concern on driving back to Klang before the clock strikes 12. So, bill settled, we hopped into our car, park right in-front Cravings and off we left.
