Thousands, if not hundreds were walking around this shopping mall and I, my first time ever here, somehow or rather, I managed to find my way to the third floor where BBB
Korea is. Upon being greeted at the entrance, I then via the spiral staircase went one floor up, sat
with the rest of the invited guests and attentively listened about BBQ Korea. Originating from Korea in September 1995, BBQ Chicken
has grown to become the No. 1 franchise brand in Korea. Opening its
1000th outlet in Korea within four years after its existence, BBQ Chicken
is also the 1st F&B Franchise Brand selected as Korea’s
TOP 100 Brands. Today BBQ Chicken is present in 59
countries with more than 4,150 outlets in the region of Asia Pacific,
Middle East, Africa, North America, South America and Europe. To give the brand
an extra edge over other competing names by providing customers a tasty yet
healthy variety of food, BBQ Chicken is the first brand that uses 100% Olive
Oil for frying.
During this food review in the cosy and warm ambiance, the dishes I sampled -
Spoon Pizza - unlike any other pizza, this cheesy pizza is scooped with a spoon. Using a special soft dough recipe topped with sous-vide chicken, potatoes and Mozzarella cheese, it is an unconventional sweet and savoury pizza flavour.
Olive Oil Fried Chicken - crispy on the outer and tender meat inside, indeed fried in olive oil.

Honey Mushroom Soup - Premium Mushroom
Cream Soup served in a soft & crispy pane.
Jerk Chicken Platter - succulent selected chicken parts marinated in special Jamaican Jerk Sauce and cooked over
a hot broiler. It is then coated with another layer of the signature Jerk Sauce
to give an even more delicious taste, served with fries, chicken and veg in skewer, olives and two dips.
Gangjeong Chicken - selected chicken
parts coated with a distinctive Korean sauce that gives a sweet and sour taste, not to be missed by Korean fried chicken lovers.
Hot Hot Chicken - selected chicken
parts marinated in bbq's Hot & Spicy recipe. A great combination between
spicy flavour and crispy exterior.
Korean Rice Balls - cooked grainy rice flavoured with pepper, herbs and other essential ingredients.
Between these seven items, I loved the crispiness and spiciness of the hot hot chicken and Gangjeong chicken, ohh!! simply splendid for the level of heat from the birds eye chillies which may sweat you up. The thick mushroom soup and spoon pizza I didn't mind as well and the rest, well, delicious but the spicy dishes definitely the winners.
Apart from these dishes, there's other choices at BBQ Korea for starting your day with breakfast or anytime you walk in during the opening hours.
