Ingredients
(as per taste)
Lemon juice
Lemon slices
Honey
Mint Leaves (lightly crushed)
Basil Seeds (soaked in water for an hour and gently rinsed)
Mineral water
Ice cubes (if needed)
Method
Dilute honey in water.
Add into a punch bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
Stir all together.
Pour into a glass and add some ice-cubes or
serve at room temperature.

wow, it is so refreshing with mint flavor. perfect for hot day what we have today.

Refreshing drink, love the basil seeds seeping all over the glass!! Sore throat, then lemon is the cure , also you can gargle luke warm water with a little salt, that helps too! Hope smog goes away soon! Human beings are the killers of environment for sure..

ReplyDeleteMoon Cho - I only know of one type of basil seeds, the tiny black ones. I am not sure on the other varieties but if you don't mind, you can try with them.
What a refreshing drink Nava..and the comparison of basil seeds to tadpoles really made me chk the snap once again...very true Nava, they really look like that. Haven't tried basil seeds yet, will give your drink a try.
