Talking about Bangsar Village 2 (Plan B Restaurant and Citrus Cafe), here's another place you can check out for some desserts and kids-friendly atmosphere. Marmalade has a wide variety of cupcakes, normal and mini sized. They also serve a handful of western desserts. I'm not one for cupcakes so I opt for an Apple Crumble (RM11). The cream custard came separately which is a good thing because you can adjust the sweetness accordingly.
As I dig in the layers of apple slices at the bottom, it was tangy and nicely balanced with the custard on the side. However, I felt that the items there are slightly pricey for its portions. The other times I was here, I only opted for The Last Polka ice-cream. So far I've tried Strawberry Cream Cheese (RM6.80) and Nutella (RM8.80).
They also have a Guinness flavour but they ran out the few times I wanted. The ice-cream brand is slowly available at more cafes in KL and PJ.
