I agree age is just a number, I also agree age should not be an excuse to strive positively in life, But, people, remember, aging does take a toll on our looks. A couple of valid reasons, mainly the stress we are tying our best to avoid, still, we don't have neglect our peepers (Safi Rania Gold Eye Cream, Garnier Brightening Eye Roll On & MAC Mineral Moisture Eye Cream) where visible signs of aging will begin to emerge. In fact, for that matter, it can be the same for anyone who feel caring for the eyes should come at a later age. For me, the notable few fine lines around my dark and hollow eye area is getting to me since I like to preserve my youth for as long as I can. Thus, at the pharmacy, between the red and white colour themed L'oreal skin care range, I picked up this anti-wrinkle & firming, reasonably priced (at least for me) eye cream after reading its product information/ ingredients listed on the cardboard box.
L'oreal eye cream comes in an attractive-cute white body glass container with a twist-able cap I simply adore, which you can easily sash in your handbag. Then again, just saying, how many ladies actually carry eye cream daily? Of course, make sense if you carry this conveniently packed cream for travelling because it will take minimal space even in the luggage, applying it is similar to every other eye product. Still, let me say. Scoop a sufficient amount of the off-white and creamy consistency cream with your “clean” finger, gently smooth and lightly tap in for full abortion around the eye area.
However, I find it rather impossible to take a tiny bit without an applicator/spatula. Alright, whatever, suffice to say, "practice makes perfect", this fragrance-free and not too heavy cream does absorb easily and quickly without leaving behind a greasy film or ruining my make-up.
I have been using this no SPF cream twice a day for 2 months now, it does fits the bill to hydrate, nourish and improve the appearance of my under eye area. But, disappointed I am it does not work for my fine lines, neither lightened my dark circles as promised. Sadly, not at all. Perhaps "patience is the virtue", for noting the results on reducing fine lines and dark circles, overall, the quantity is absolutely well worth the price as an okay cream. But instead of repurchasing it again, I would like to keep my options open to other eye products.
