Taste Enclave - Sunway Pyramid (Revisited)

Just as I thought I'll stay put at home to welcome "Year 2016", 2 days earlier, arrived the good news. The Taste Enclave buffet invitation for two (RM150.00), generally people would say "god send", actually, it was Kelvin send. Asking my half-half to accompany me hit the wall. This man in the pretext of entertaining clients or maybe 80% true, preferred to usher New Year at the watering hole. Can I say anything? Not really because it will be same story the next year. More so, he is never comfortable with tacking along for food invitations. Well, busy man with business busyness, simple said, always busy.

Hence, I was all by myself at the familiar Taste Enclave Sunway Pyramid (Taste Enclave Classic Pavilion) and all you can eat buffet (RM88.00) for a tiny person like me? Honestly, didn't really matter for the reason it was a meaningful invitation - awesomely friendly staff, down to earth people and the buffet, a lovely mix of Western and Asian cuisine with variety of dishes. Only that, I would have appreciated if food was labelled. Thus, each time before option between the mains, pizzas and finger food, I checked with the staff to ensure I don't accidentally eat beef.

The pumpkin pizza was clever a invention and the oyster (I think) atop with tangy salad simply irresistible. The desserts I moderately appreciated whereas the free flow of black coffee, truly satisfied.

By right or by wrong, still, I couldn't have shared this food review prior to New Year. But sure, there's always many more years to come and for every other occasion. Taste Enclave as said before, offers the favourite, finest, nostalgic-authentic quality Singaporean and Asian hawker fare in its COEN design – modern, contemporary, clean, woody and granite atmosphere. Coen by itself serves coffee with a blend of Brazilian, Sumatran and Ethiopian beans, oven-baked pizza, pastas, roast and sweet delicacies. My favourites I have yet to pull through because I've not covered all the hawker stalls.
Thank you Taste Enclave.
