Bespoke Sorbet - The Frozen Treat

Unlike other food reviews which usually ends with a sweet rendition, it was a different experience at Buns & Meat. Sure enough, still a sweet treat but instead of cakes and desserts from the house, the stylish box I least expected. True to say, anticipation ran high trying to guess what is inside the box and surprise came in the form of the all-natural handcrafted-artisan Bespoke Sorbets. Artfully packed in clear bottle and tight with a string to secure the Kraft paper topper, the 4 favorite flavors in the box were

Asian Lemonade (Barley & Lime)
Asian lemonade brings a local twist to the classic lemonade. The combination of fresh juicy limes, barley and pandan infusion makes this a definite crowd pleaser.

The Red Water Boy (Watermelon)
Watermelon juice is wonderfully refreshing and the Red Water Boy kicks this up a couple of notches. Just like a real water boy, the Red Water Boy will sure to quench your thirst at a moment's notice.

Sunny Side Up (Orange)
Bursts of sunshine in your mouth - that's what Sunny Side Up is about! The tangy sweetness of the orange is balanced out by a faint bitter edge from the zest. Definitely a great party treat!

Bespoke Coconut (Coconut)
The Bespoke Coconut was originally for one of the customers and is now a firm favourite. Light and refreshing with hints of shredded coconut, Bespoke Coconut will leave you wanting more.

Drawing inspiration from local delights, Bespoke is a home-grown company based in the food capital of Malaysia and their handcrafted-artisan sorbets are -

100% natural - no preservatives, no colouring, no additives and stabilizers
Pure and Fresh - made from pure fresh fruits and ingredients
Dairy Free - low in fat, low in calories, perfect for the lactose intolerant
Socially Responsible - recyclable packaging and local community driven
Apart from the 4 favorite flavors, other flavors to be tried, and even some crafted with alcohol are -

Golden Orchard (mango)
Yellow Submarine (lemon)
Emperor Li's Concubine (lychee)
Princess Porcupine (soursop)

Bora Bora Dream (coconut + vodka)
A Kingston Affair (sugarcane + rum)
Flirty Bangkok (mojito)
Capetown-Intoxicated (lemon & whisky)
Moonlighting in Copenhagen (pear cider)
Mellow St. Andrews (honey + whisky)

Super smooth and without any hint of ice crystals, the blending of real ingredients is delivered in the genuine tastes of Bespoke sorbets. Scooped off easily and softly straight out of the freezer, my favorite are Bespoke Coconut and Sunny Side Up.  Bespoke Coconut shines through with the purity of fresh coconut water and that bit of gelatinous-creamy fresh coconut texture and Sunny Side Up, jumping all the high citrusy and refreshing notes.
As for the alcohol crafted sorbets for future treat indulgence, I will have to request Bespoke Sorbet to custom made with extra packs of alcohol (hahaha!!Oh-hey!), to be purchased at
