Skinfood Black Sugar Mask

Looks like I haven't change a bit when it comes to skin care products. I always get over-excitement at beauty stores. Given a choice, emptying the whole store is my true happiness. Then again, no point hoarding skin care products because, mind you, they too have limited life expectancy. Therefore, logically, we should get real. Can we possibly use all the products simultaneously? No. Common sense I bet will say that we can't use all of it at one go. Nevertheless, I somehow, sometimes, not always though, can't hold myself from picking up another product from the same brand. I bought rice mask and this Skinfood Black Sugar Mask was included as well.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask created quite a buzz among the beauties the moment it hit the market. Touted as another affordable best seller of Skinfood, compared to the Rice mask I have previously used, this is my first time to testing Skinfood Black Sugar Mask. Recommended for your home facial, and containing mineral-enriched Brazilian black sugar, Skinfood Black Sugar Mask is filled in a sturdy plastic bucket with a twist off lid. Product made, expiry date and ingredients are clearly listed on the bucket, perhaps for some of you, it can be an issue that you don't get a spatula.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask is of a thick consistency, its refreshing sugary citrusy scent is appreciated. To use, scoop it with your clean finger or a plastic spoon, spread a thin layer on your clean-damp face and let it work for 10-15 minutes. Next, thoroughly rinse off with lukewarm water, or even normal water will do and pat dry. A comfortable mask in the sense that it won't irritate, when you apply and thereafter after applying, however, its grainy sugar granules may be harsh, though not overly abrasive. Be careful though with overly massaging to remove and also for effectively buffing and loosening black whites and white heads. For me, I still have to extract my blackheads, especially those stubborn ones on my nose. Gently pressed out with cotton pads.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask does a good job for my combination sensitive skin. It wakes me up, it leaves me soft without any tingling sensation, it does not strip my natural oils and you can assumingly use this natural ingredients mask every 3 to 4 days. For me, I like to keep this mask that does not hydrate neither moisture my skin once a week. Basically, I would regard it as my scrub, not really a mask though.
