How Healthy Is Your Feet?? - MyORTHO Footcare Specialist

It is not always about food, cooking or eating. Eating I agree is one of the pleasures of life. More to that, like I always say again and again, "health is wealth". Health I'm sure you will agree is precious. Without being healthy, seriously, you have to watch everything you eat. Okay. Okay. I admit. I do break the rules. Over indulging in unhealthy things shouldn't be the excuse yet controlling the will power is easier said than done. Still, well being has and will always be my priority.

The feet I'm aware play an important role in my daily life. Otherwise getting from one place to the other is a struggle even to the nearest point. My feet is still functioning normally though occasionally pain is unavoidable. Well, the pain as far as I know is because of the stylo-mylo high heels enviably for more slender legs and standing for too long while cooking. The effects of course are aching joints and sore feet. So, to relieve the muscle soreness, I flex the feet or massage with a soothing ointment but there's more to the feet I didn't know. After listening to Dato' Dr. Edmund Lee at this public series - "what your feet need and how healthy is your feet?", certainly I've gathered a broader perspective about caring for the feet.
To say I remembered exactly what Dr shared may sound as though I have the biggest memory capacity and I am not the expert either. The key points definitely digested and here's what MyORTHO foodcare specialist would like to convey.

Dr. Edmund and the team of certified orthotic specialist, orthotist, orthotic consultant and physiotherapist offer not only a full range of orthotic treatments but also, more especially, foot biomechanical gait analysis to diagnose the cause of of foot and/or lower limb musculo-skeletal problems. Building relationships based on quality custom orthotics, responsive service and a truly innovative approach to the orthotic business, MyORTHO provide practitioners all the services and tools necessary to make expert orthotic and footwear decisions.

At the end of the talk, I truly appreciated the fact that the feet is as important as the rest of the body parts. Furthermore, foot pain is not normal, to wash and dry the feet often and to cut toenails carefully. Most importantly, to shoe shop in the afternoon - feet swell as the day goes on and if shoes fit in the afternoon when your feet are at their largest, you can be assured they will always be comfortable.

If at all the occasional pain become unbearable, I know my feet will be cared for at MyORTHO.
