Botaneco Be Forest Body Wash

House brands are not too bad you know. I won't say all but some products are pretty okay. Things like facial tissues, toilet rolls, hand washes and floor cleaners certainly worth buying to save a couple of dollars. The same however cannot be said about detergents, soaps and dish cleaners. While I'm absolutely sure about which to re-purchase again, I won't mind trying new ones too. For that matter, I didn't know about Guardian's Botaneco range. Not until when I was at their Pavilion outlet. Actually as I was about to leave, I saw the Botaneco body wash that comes in three variants -

Be Forest Body Wash enriched with sunflower and rosemary essential oils.
Be Orchard Body Wash enriched with grape seed and bergamot essential oils
Be Garden Body Wash enriched with macadamia and ylang ylang essential oils.

Uncomplicated it may have been which to buy, certainly heart-won deciding there and then. It wasn't any better for I've been in Guardian for the last one hour testing the Lakme lipstick and buying other things as well. The packaging impressive and equivalently impressive the product made -

Contains Eco-certified Organic Incha Inchi Oil to maintain skin hydration and elasticity.
Contains Organic Aloe Vera to moisturize and soothe delicate skin.
Genuine essential oils to enhance your bathing experience and care for your skin.
Does not contain harmful chemicals such as Paraben, Silicone and Colorant which may cause skin irritation, allergic reaction, carcinogenic to human and harmful to environment.

Why wouldn't I buy? Cheaper compared to The Body Shop olive oil shower gel. Likewise with the same core values. I took the 620ml bottle of "Be Forest Body Wash", paid RM15.88 and quickly left to Taste Enclave

The colourless thick wash is basically a gel in a sturdy no-frill green plastic bottle. So far so good with the bottle. Save and sound on the bathroom shelf while the pump has been functioning as usual. The bottle hasn't slipped off from my hands neither been packed for travelling. So the sturdiness yet to be proven. The pretty bottle for some reason or another makes me happy. Must be the colour. Never mine the wash is colourless. I actually look forward to pumping the gel twice a day. The gel lathers well with water or with a shower puff. One pump is all needed and seem like lasting forever. It took me a few days to figure out that a little goes a long way. Of course you can use more but why waste. The herbal fragrance is just so-like-that. So faint unless when I put my nose close to the wash. Herbal indeed but the smell cannot be confirmed if its rosemary and sunflower oils. The scent is nice but fades rapidly while showering and doesn't linger in the bathroom.

This wash is oh-so loveable. It cleanses well, doesn't leave a greasy film behind and my skin feels soft. Ensuring skin's long term beauty is not hard as the nourishing ingredients doesn't strip away skin's natural moisture. By far, this wash is one of the best among the many I've tried within the same price range. I can’t wait to try the other two variants but not in another 2 months.
