DU'IT Foot And Heel Balm Plus

So I did speak about neglecting my feet previously at Ellgy Plus Cracked Heel Cream. Yes, absolutely I didEllgy was the first for my rough-tough feet, indeed a good start to minimise and smooth out dry flaky skin. And then when I returned to the pharmacy to buy another heel cream, this unheard of DU'IT balm I randomly selected, paid around RM30.00 and back to the routine of applying on my feet.

Having used this balm for the last 4 months or so, it is definitely worth the buy for it works better and faster compared to Ellgy Cream. This non-greasy and easily absorbed formula is suitable for even the most sensitive skin types and it is a relief for dry rough thickened skin that can be experienced around hands, fingertips, elbows, knees, heels, feet, neck or any part of the body where flakiness occur. This balm is also multi functional  because you can use it on cuticles, manicures and pedicures. Containing Bergamot, Geranium and Ylang Ylang essential oils, enriched with antioxidant and free radical fighting Vitamin E to fortify skin, this balm guard against premature ageing and aids in the skin healing process.

 To Apply
This mild balm smells nice (just mild) and is a light gel instead of like a heavy cream. I apply it once a day after showering by gently pressing the needed amount out of the tube and massage all over my sole and feet. After applying, I rest for around 10 minutes and I am not comfortable with covering my heels with socks before going to bed because I feel restless especially when the weather is hot and humid. Also how can it possibly be as I wake up a few times in the night to go to the bathroom.

Anyway with or without socks, this balm sealed the cracks and provided moisturising relief for my feet and heels. For the first one week, I applied every day. Then gradually every 3 to 4 days once which definitely was substantial to keep my feet in good condition. As for applying on other parts of my body, I can't comment because I have not tried. Now that there is the dry and heel roll-a-balm with its roller applicator for less mess and fuss, I am hoping I can get and try it when this balm finishes off in another two months time.
Trust me when I say this balm is really good. Try and you will so agree.

  8. I've seen the other brand but not this one. Great to know it's effective. Not sure if you're aware, there's this battery-operated device that smoothens cracked heels & works like a charm. It's quite cheap too. I bought it at Guardian for less than S$30. I think Watsons is selling too. You may wanna check that out :D
