Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil

Beauty budget plays a major part in deciding how much we should spend on beauty products. I think I have already highlighted this money and spending before, maybe over and over again. I guess I can't help in remaining you that we have to live within our budget. But sure, never do we have to compromise our beauty. We can still buy beauty products. Basically buy what we can afford, one which can be done at pharmacies, drug stores and these days, hypermarkets do carry, if not all, some affordable beauty products. Take this Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil for an example. I picked it up at Guardian. But the one and only thing short at such outlets is that you have to trust your instincts. No beauty advisers, you have to stand in front of the shelves prior to deciding. What I did was I read the product information and ingredients for Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil and I bought. Affordable. It won't definitely shatter your budget (RM38.00), I also told myself that if it does not work for my skin, my body will willingly accept.

My cleansing beauty story has already been said before (Shu Uemura cleansing oil  & Body Shop cleansing oil), unlike the stylish packaging of Shu Uemura sublime cleansing oil, Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil oil comes in a no frill simple transparent plastic bottle, well sealed in a plastic wrapper. Transforming to a soft and fine cleansing milk/emulsion for effectively removes dirt, impurities and make-up in one single step, Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil. is formulated with botanical skincare complex for helping in locking balance to leave skin soft and supple. Dermatologist tested, does not clog pores and can be used on waterproof make up.
Honestly, to tell you the truth, even after buying, I was still skeptical if I made the right decision. Mainly because Neutrogena has been stuck on my mind as a brand for problematic skin, specifically for acne or pimples. Nevertheless, since I have bought, logically, I should start using. So, I  did. Surprise, surprise. Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil works just as well as the rest of the cleansing oils I have used before on my sensitive-combination skin. Dispensed from pump nozzle, this light texture and refreshing citrus-y oil quickly and effectively removes dirt and impurities without drying up my skin. It leaves behind no residue, it does not strip my natural oils and it keeps my skin healthy and clean. But  it does not give me the soft and supple look, not at all noticeable on my well maintained skin. Furthermore, just like other cleansing oils, it breaks me when used twice a day, I also just have to forget about thoroughly removing my mascara and heavy eye make-up.

Having said that, I will rave about Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil, mainly because it didn't irritate my skin and its certainly worth the buy. Will I buy again? I doubt. I want to give a go to other cleansing oils.

  1. I'm a lazy person, so cleansing oil is out for me. I'll head straight for the cleanser as it cuts down a step. I guess cleansing oil is perfect for those with make-up to ensure the face is thoroughly cleaned.
