Banana Chocolate Cake

This whole damn thing on Valentine's Day I think has been blown out of proportion. I mean, just look around you on what has happened to Valentine's Day. A simple meaningful way of expression our love, let it be towards anyone for the matter, is now akin a major thing. Speak about those who show off their love received branded stuffs and their high flying dining moment in posh restaurants on social media? What? The true meaning of Valentine's Day is flaunting it? Oh please, for god sake, please, I sincerely wish people will come down to earth instead of floating on money cloud nine. By the way, social media by itself is a ruiner already, not helping is these people who can't stop with flaunting their exclusive Valentine's Day.

What happens then to those average people like us? Are you telling me that Valentine's Day is about impressing our social media friends, let alone extremely money spending? I just can't believe it. Where then is the real value of love? I am rather confused actually. I think even god is crying for people who put money as the priority for Valentine's Day. For me, honesty, Valentine's Day is another day. Why on earth get over-excited by burning my the money bridge? Everything is literally hiked up, so why bother when you can actually celebrate Valentine's Day earlier or later, or you know what? The best among the rest is a romantic home dinner. It can be as simple as possible. Cook the favourites of our loves ones and take our moment of a stress free expressing our Valentine's love.

By the way, we have long given up on Valentine's Day, but since its been said that its potentially a day most people look forward with a sweet burst (Tam Tim Krob/Red Rubies, Mango Kulfi/Indian Ice Cream, Lemon Squares, Coconut Bars, Thin Apple Pie & Nestum Meringue Pie), thank god I managed to pull out this Banana Chocolate Cake (Banana Bread, Chocolate Butter Cake, Almond Brownies & Chocolate Lava Cake) recipe from the hundreds still screaming and awaiting to be shared. The best part of making this cake is that all you gotto do is getting the ingredients ready, and then fold in. No beating, no creaming and not complicated at all. Its worth it, trust this Nava K. She is confident on what she is saying, as always. Banana Chocolate Cake is a splendid sweet knocker (Lamingtons, Classic Genoise, Chocolate Cheesecake & Marble Cake). It will knock you out in the most desirable mouth pleasuring manner.

Ingredient
6 medium size bananas (keep one aside for topping)
2 eggs
3/4 cup carton milk
4 tbsp oil (no smell)
1/2 cup cocoa
1 2/3 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup caster brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
A pinch of salt

Method
Mash  bananas and whisk with eggs, milk and oil.

Shift the rest of the dry ingredients on top.
Gently fold and tip into a greased baking pan.

Arrange a few slices of bananas on top (the one kept aside).
Bake at 175C for about an hour or until cooked.

Trend alongside "nava-k", possibly on every other social media please. Your support will utterly put a smile on my face. Thank you everyone.
