The Fish Market - Bergen (Norway)

Finally, the finale to our Denmark/Norway was at this fish market prior to lunching and leaving to the airport. Earlier in the morning we were up at Floibanen Funicular, later at Troldhaugen Edvard Grieg Museum and then we walked a short distance in Bergen city to arrive here. Basically, this morning market is like any other market anywhere which showcases mostly local produce and here of course is the local fresh catch.

You want to shop, you can if you find something you can't get back home, but do consider the exchange rate. For Asians, you have to really think twice, also it is impossible to buy back the fresh ingredients because after the long flight, they definitely won't remain fresh and some of these are not allowed on board. The winter clothes would have been a good buy if I have bought on the day I arrived, but now there's no point, unless of course if I travel again for the next winter. So basically, we walked in circles, then walked again to the Chinese restaurant for lunch and bye-bye to Norway.

So how would I conclude this 9 nights 7 days Denmark-Norway tour? Well, sitting in the flight for that long hours was not my cup of tea and the cold weather sort of chilled my bones. Nonetheless, an interesting tour for we visited many interesting places -

Copenhagen - Part 1Part 2 and Part 3
Carlsberg Brewery
Frederiksborg Slot
Vossestrand - Part 1 & Part 2
Edvard Greig Museum
