Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting UV Cream Moisturiser SPF 30

While it is impossible to stop the ageing process, we sure can look good for our age. Most importantly, apart from keeping the skin clean and clear by cleansing daily, moisturizing and defending the skin from the sun must be included. For me, after reaching the big 5, as always said, it is rather challenging to keep my skin supple and nourish, though thankfully I have been maintaining it quite well (Shu Uemura Whitefficient Whitening Emulsion, Body Shop Vitamin C Energizing Face SpritzMAC Lightful Marine-Bright Formula SPF30PA++ Moisturizer Hydratant and Shu Uemura Phyto -Black Lift Radiance Boosting Lotion).

Olay UV is the latest moisturiser I have been using for around 2 months. Olay brand is not new for me because I can still remember their well known olay oil which actually broke up my combination- sensitive skin many-many years ago. Thus, at first, I was unsure if I should purchase this moisturiser. But since it is an affordable within my budget (Garnier Brightening Eye Roll On) and two in one product with SPF 30 UVA/UVB protection, I didn't mind giving a try.
This moisturiser formulated with amino-peptide complex helps to:
Renew skin's surface
Renew skin's youthful look
Reduce fine lines and wrinkle appearance with moisturisation
Exfoliate and smooth skin
Hydrates and firm up skin.
Olay moisturizer comes in a hygienic, decent and airless pump, the formula is thick and the smell is somewhat a little strong, although not unpleasant. To use, pump enough of this moisturizer and work it into your skin as there is a light white cast, whereas the smell will slowly fade away. Despite taking a while to be absorbed, it moisturizers well, is non- greasy and I am truly glad it does not break up my skin. The SPF is great protection, still, I apply a  SPF powder to further protect my skin from the really hot and humid weather. Olay moisturizer does not irritate my skin neither my eyes, but I can’t comment about its anti-ageing properties to reduce and prevent wrinkles.

Overall, Olay moisturizer is an effective sunscreen and does keep my skin hydrated and clear. In fact, it is at par with some of the more expensive products I have used before and I won’t hesitate to repurchase it again. Nonetheless, remember it is for day use, so, perhaps you can consider the L'oreal White Perfect Transparent Rosy Fairness Revealing Soothing Night Cream for night use.
