Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil

My cleansing journey with Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil started five years ago. In that within period of time, because of money matters, yes, money is forever the matter, isn't it, I strongly believe so, maybe also out of temptation and curiosity, I tried to conquer my cleansing routine with Body Shop Moisture White Shiso. Oh no, what a beauty ruiner. I didn't mind accepting the fact that my skin broke up because twice a day with Shu Uemura cleansing oils too did the same. But Body Shop, didn't really, basically, justify anything. Except maybe, just for cleansing, it did non else. Then again, like I always say, we never try, we never know, I have already rested my beauty case on Body Shop Cleansing Oil. Back again to Shu Uemura Empire Subang, back to Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil, this time, I settled for their famed beauty best-seller Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil.

Sublime Cleansing Oil is made by merging the precious essence of 8 botanical origin oil, those sought from Chinese medicines and beauty oils all over the world, proven to have the highest skincare efficacy for a petal-soft silky smooth sensation. Formulated for the ultimate solution to 8 skin benefits, this cleansing oil is powerful, yet it is a gentle botanical origin removal system for effortless cleansing for removing make-up and impurities. When used consistently, skin is softened, conditioned, hydrated, nourished from within and glows with a new radiance.
Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil actually is more than a face cleansing oil. If you don't know, l didn't know as well,  until I was told by the beauty consultant, that we can also nourish our body or use it as a massage oil. Utterly a vast improvement in the Japanese cleansing oil department, indeed it is, but for such an expensive, at least for me, above my budget cleansing oil, I am not wrong for keeping it for my face only. I bet you will do the same, unless, you are rich. To use, pump, for me I need at least 2 pumps. Pump this oil on your hand, massage it all over your face to loosen your make up or whatever your have applied, thereafter, wet your hands, massage the oil again gently against your skin and wash/rinse off. Akin a standard beauty technic for any cleansing oil, if you still don't know what I am talking about, just refer to the instruction.
The question now, I bet you are asking is how did this light floral, thick oil fare on my skin? Sure. Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil is indeed a pretty decent cleansing oil, but after the first week, I again concluded that cleansing oil can't touch my face twice a day. Can't. Proven. My skin broke up. Tiny spots, which I believe is triggered by this oil, if I didn't cut down by using once a day, only in the evening to remove, all in all, whatever I have applied on my face, I knew that spots would have grown to big acne. Basically, oil balls. So, I switched to MAC formula cleanser for my morning cleansing, and Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil for evening.

Additionally, believe me, I just can't seem getting it right with cleansing oil for removing mascara and eye liner. Even after  reapplying and gently massaging Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil on my lashes and under my eyelids, dang! Unfortunately no. Does not work, I can't understand why some beauties are strongly vouching that Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil is their one stop cleansing beauty. For me, I either have to depend on eye make-up remover or cotton pad dampen with olive oil for thorough cleansing of eye make-up. Having said that, for some reason or rather, I still love Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil. Wonder why ah? You think its because I am a brand conscious person, or because Shu Uemura cleansing oil has been over and over blown out of proportion as one of the best cleansing oils, or shall we call it pricing psychology? Beats me, now, if you intend to carry this whole 450ml bottle for your travel ventures, no worries, Its easy lock mechanism will ensure that oil will not spill all over your luggage. Or how about repacking in a smaller bottle, unless if you are going away for 6 months.
Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil, let me repeat myself again, does a decent job in cleansing my face, but considering that its formula is not the perfect balance for my combination sensitive skin, I don't think I should invest in another bottle. You agree? Or maybe, unless, if there will be a milder cleansing oil, one which I can be assured won't break me up for twice a day cleansing.

Trend alongside "nava-k", possibly on every other social media please. Your support is my biggest pride and joy. Thank you everyone.
