Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil

My journey with Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil started five years ago. In between, because of money matters, and also out of temptation and curiosity, I switched to Body Shop Moisture White Shiso which didn't really win  my heart. But I still stood by my principal of waste not what not, I made sure I finished it off. Thereafter I was back to Shu Uemura Empire Subang. Back to Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil, I settled for their famed beauty best-seller Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil.

Sublime Cleansing Oil is made by merging the precious essence of 8 botanical origin oil, those sought from Chinese medicines and beauty oils all over the world and proven to have the highest skincare efficacy for a petal-soft silky smooth sensation. Formulated for the ultimate solution to 8 skin benefits, this cleansing oil is powerful yet it is a gentle botanical origin removal system for the effortless cleansing to remove all kind of make-up and impurities. When used consistently, skin is softened, conditioned, hydrated, nourished from within and glows with a new radiance.
Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil can be applied on your body as nourishment or as a massage oil, but for the price I paid, no way. I am treasuring it only for my treasured face. Using this cleaning oil is pretty much no difference to other cleansing oils. Yes, I have already figured that out, how can I not? Its experience speaking louder than anything, unless of course if you have never used cleansing oil in your entire life. Still, no need to press your panic button. If not all, most cleansing oils like Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil comes with how to use instruction. Just follow and within a day, you will be a pro.
The question now I bet on your mind is how did this light floral thick oil fare on my skin. Sure, I''ll tell you all of it. Let me bare it all. After all, that's the main purpose why beauty bloggers do review. No doubt, Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil is a pretty decent cleansing oil, but after the first week, I again concluded that I can't use twice a day. My skin slowly starting breaking up with tiny spots, and if I didn't cut down by using it once a day, only in the evening to remove all in all, whatever I have applied on my face, I knew that spots would have clogged up my skin. Bigger until spots would have become oily pimples. I was not surprised anyway, so, MAC formula cleanser is the one for morning cleansing.

Moreover, believe me, I just can't seem getting it right with cleansing oil for removing mascara and eye liner. Even with reapplying and gently massaging Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil on my lashes and under my eyelids, dang! Unfortunately no. So I either use an eye make-up remover or cotton pad dampen with olive oil. That, trust me, can pretty much remove any amount of eye make up, including waterproof mascaras. But make sure, olive oil does not sting your eyes. It will if you accidentally allow it to get into your eyes.

For travelling, I carry the samples generously given every time I buy Shu Uemura products or I repack Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil in a small bottle. If you still insist on carrying this 450ml bottle, its easy lock mechanism will ensure that oil will not spill all over your luggage. You can't hand carry it, I'm sure travellers are aware. Right now I have not decided if I will repurchase Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Cleansing Oil again. We will cross the bright when we come to.
