Nescafe Walnut Tiramisu

For us, Valentine's Day isn't anything special. Another normal day and no need to get over excited, buy expensive gifts to impress each other or wine and dine at exclusive restaurants. Anyway, Valentine's day is over-rated - over doing, over spending and over commercialised. Better to save the money and travel, also a simple home meal is the pleasure for a quiet moment together. Now, since its a special occasion though dessert is hardly preferred, I still make this tiramisu  -no cooking, no baking, assembled with store bought ingredients, lady fingers drizzled with Nescafe and layered with cream cheese, crunchy walnut and cocoa powder. Of course I read through a couple of tiramisu recipes because its the first time ever and made do with Nescafe and as usual - knock, knock, what is in the pantry and fridge.

Ingredients
12 pcs ladyfingers biscuits - (break into two (if needed) to fit the container/serving dish.
4 tbsp Nescafe (dilute/stir with 1/4 cup hot water)
1 1/2 tbsp (estimate) cocoa powder
200g cream cheese
150g (or as needed) roasted walnuts - crushed
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup brown sugar
Method
Cream yolks with sugar till light and fluffy.
Add cheese and continue to cream to combine in.
Keep aside.
Break ladyfingers into two pieces.
Arrange on a serving dish.
Drizzle Nescafe on top (depending on how much you like)
Sprinkle walnuts and cocoa powder.
Spread cheese mixture over (to fully cover or half way through)
Continue with layering till the top of the serving dish.
The last layer should be walnut and cocoa powder.
