Chicken Chili With Black Eyed Peas

Let me see and let me think what I should say about chicken chilli or if you like, call this dish as chilli chicken. Right, many variations of chicken chilli because you can add your pick of meat, spices and beans. I as usual made this style with whatever ingredients available at home (well, for sure bought the beans) including the rosemary. The rosemary plant I don't know why doesn't want to grow despite showering with lots of tender, loving and care. And in the name of pruning and in the hope of seeing more stems, the 3 sprigs into this spicy and creamy dish for bread, stuffed into pita bread, wrapped with lettuce leaves or what not with rice ah! ah! ah!

Ingredients
2 cups black eyed peas - soaked for 2-3 hours and boiled till soft and tender.
400g minced chicken
5 shallots - chopped/sliced thinly
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp chilli flakes (or as as per taste)
1/2 tsp all spice powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
2-3 sprigs rosemary - remove leaves from stems
1/2 cup cream/milk
1/4 cup water
4 tbsp oil
Salt for taste
Method
Heat oil and saute shallots with ginger paste and garlic paste.
Add chicken and break it up into bits and pieces.
Put in chilli flakes, all spice powder, nutmeg powder, rosemary leaves and salt.
Stir and pour some water.
Once heated through, add beans and cream.
Give a couple of stir and remove from heat.
