Grilled Shishamo With Wasabi And Soy Sauce


Every now and then I prefer the simplest way to a meal. More so, when its been pretty hectic at work, I pick up the pre-prepared food on the way back home (Grilled Unnagi & Crispy Fried Japanese Tofu). The air-packed grilled shishamo I bought today seemed like a simple perfection. Just simply grilling the fish on a non-stick pan and pairing with wasabi in soy sauce, cucumber strips and lemon wedges took only about 15 mins. Certainly it was a good change compared to cooking rice with dishes and a convenient meal for the utter satisfaction with a plate of rice. 


Ingredients
1 packet frozen shishamo
Wasabi - as needed
Japanese soy sauce - as needed
Lemon wedges - as needed
Cucumber strips

Method
Rinse fish and pat dry.
Grill over a non-stick pan or portable grill till both slides for a crispy outer layer.
Remove and serve with wasabi with soy sauce, cucumber strips and lemon wedges.

  4. Who cares whether you take shortcuts when the food looks as delicious as this! It's about cooking a delicious meal and cooking it fast. Looking at your recipe, I remembered I had wasabi stored in my cupboard and totally forgot about it. Lovely as usual Nava!
