Super Star Libra Cruise - On Board

Been quite a fruitful one year or so of travelling, my first ever overseas trip to ITALY with my half-half, then my SOLO TRIP TO BANGKOK, followed by solo travel in a tour group tVIETNAM & CAMBODIA, and work trip to PERTH. Next was this lone ranger cruise holiday to Krabi and Phuket. Up by 5.00am on this day to arrive by 7.00am at Berjaya Square Jalan Imbi for boarding the bus to Penang, prior to stepping foot in Penang at about 1.00pm, thereafter, Super Star Libra boarding by 2.30pm.

Following the long line of people, I managed till the reception area to collect my key, but quite a thing actually trying to figure out which is my cabin. Anyway, after asking the staff who seemed all stressed out, I got into my cabin which came with basic amenities, but you have to forget about watching tv and don't ever dream of wifi/internet. Additionally, I didn't really feel comfortable in this tiny cabin, as if I was suffocated, bed is basically a place for you to put your head down, which by the way is not the best comfort and kept me wondering if pillow covers and bed sheet are clean. Within the next 10 minutes or so, I was bored to death. I didn't know what else to do in this tiny space, so, I returned to the reception area where I met the same people who travelled with me in the bus from Kuala Lumpur.

They actually coaxed me to have some food and drink for tea time. So I walked to the dining area which was packed to the rim with people who were pushing, as well as pigging out, as though they have not eaten for days. Quite an unpleasant sight actually, anyway, I helped myself  to a tiny bit of food and then off from this mad house within the next 20 minutes.

Will tell you more on this cruise venture of mine in the next post. Stay tuned!
