Western Australian Museum - Perth

Back from Fremantle Marketfriends decided to return to Miss Maud Hotel (Miss Maud Restaurant) whereas another friend and I walked to Western Australian museum. Close by the train station and within a walking distance from our hotel. Why not? We walked in, we knew time is not on our side because by the next 40 minutes, at 5.00pm, museum will be closing its doors. So, without wasting much time, we made sure we covered the entire museum. Hopefully, we didn't miss out on anything, from floor to floor, we actually had to rush through. Western Australian Museum is similar to any other museum (Fremantle Shipwreck Museum). Basically, its a museum, you know what I mean? Western Australian Museum does take you through a journey on Australian history and culture back then many-many years, you will also get to see diamonds to dinosaurs, collections of objects, stories about aboriginal people from past to present, Dampier Marine, mammal, bird and butterfly galleries, spread over 3 floors.

Frankly speaking, I am a museum person. I love history and culture. So, by the time I walked out Western Australian Museum, I have to a certain extent gasped some knowledge on what it was like back then in Australian. However, I found it quite annoying when the staff kept reminding us every now and then on the closing time. All of them, three of them wouldn't leave us alone until we walked out I think 5 minutes before closing time. Australians working to rule? Nothing wrong. I salute them.

Up next:  Perth Zoo, Western Australia.
