a cold salad with potatoes, olives, onions, boiled eggs and cherry tomatoes. The taste was "ok" but somehow I don't fancy cold dishes. We still ate, leaving behind quite a portion. Our table was cleared for the arrival of grilled lamb chop and grilled lamb of rack. The grilled lamb rack was fabulous, tender and juicy with enough texture and bite, immersed in a pepper sauce with mashed potatoes and yam at both ends of the plate.
The rice milk was somewhat a basic dessert made with rice, sugar and milk.
While I requested for the rack to be medium rare, my other half preferred the lamb chops to be well done. It wasn't a good idea because he had a tough time cutting the chops to pieces and chewing over them.
Compared to the small portions of the two types of mash I had for the rack, the chops were seated on a generous amount of mashed potatoes and covered with salad leaves. Rice milk and poached wine pear ended our meals. Between both, the pear was a winner, the melt in moment dessert with right enough balance of red wine and sugar.
We paid RM148.85 and left:
