Restoran Syed Kadir - Seksyen 3, Shah Alam

Back again to Restaurant Syed Kadir (Restaurant Syed, Seksyen 9, Shah Alam), more for a light meal at about 3.30 pm and for the three of us, we ordered Tosai, Maggi goreng, Sup Ayam/Chicken, Mutton Chops Curry and Teh Tarik (3x).  Service was pretty much efficient as food and drinks arrived so soon. Flavourful and piping hot, chicken soup a little spicy and peppery, garnished with spring onion and with tender chicken,  this soup I loved till the last scoop.

Tosai -  the usual fare and the dips and curries, elevated tastefully. Maggi goreng the friend tucked into and grinned happily whereas the mutton chops curry stood out for the right reasons -soft meat which came out from the bones without much hassle and soaking up in the thick finger licking gravy. The teh tarik just had to be the drink during this hour.

Restoran Syed Kadir - if we ever pass by area, we won't mind stopping by for a meal.

  4. The picture of biriyani looks drool worthy for sure - with the gravy kinda blanketed the whole biriyani. That is a big piece of meat in between rice. Love the crispy dosa with umpteen number of gravies, seriously makes me feel hungry :) Also that is a generous amount of soup! The tea looks subtle and ever worthy addition to any meal/snack.
