War Remnants Museum - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Part 1)

A fifteen minutes journey from Reunification Museum to War Remnants Museum, another must see in Vietnam. The guide for the day of course was a Vietnamese too, educated in overseas and quite well built handsome guy as well. Because of his over the top English accent, some couldn't understand what he said except to gasped its 1 1/2 hours to view the museum. While it would have been good to know about the museum before going inside, with the bundles of information that comes with the pictures, you won't be lost. If Reunification museum is about the Vietnam war era, then War Remnants Museum is about the aftermath of the war. Can be touching to the mind, heart and soul but certainly life will be better appreciated thereafter as the disastrous war disastered millions of money and lives.

At this point, I'll leave you to see and read about the longest and bloodiest war of the lifetime with more coverages in Part 2 and Part 3.

  1. Nava, you have perfectly explained the concept of appreciating the existing things we have in a very emotional yet historical way. The pictures speak for themselves.
