Bobbi Brown Creamy Eye Concealer

Without a doubt, my weekly treatment with La Colline Eye Mask helps to lighten the dark circles under my eyes.  However, I still wanted to invest in a product for my daily use to camouflage my dark circles. That certainly is the reason why I bought the Bobbi Brown creamy eye concealer. I was surprised to see a male beauty consultant at the Bobbi Brown counter. It was my first experience being attended to by a male consultant but he was extremely professional.  He listened and we tested some of shades on my hand.  Among these, I decided on the honey shade.

The consultant suggested that I use a brush to apply the concealer. I do not have a brush so I was comfortable using my fingers.

After applying my eye serum and cream, I dabbed a few dots of the concealer under my eye in a crescent shape, including the inner and outer corners.  Next I lightly tapped in with my finger to spread and blend. The rest was the usual of loose powder under my eyes and all over my face. Amazingly, the concealer was perfect. It covered my dark circles, brightened up my eyes and refreshed my total appearance.

I got excited and started applying more than needed. Not a good idea because I ended up with an obvious contrast of shade against my skin color, with two light patches under my eyes. I learned my lesson and now am able to estimate the amount of concealer I need to apply.  I have been using the concealer for 5 months now. I don’t apply the concealer when I am at home, only for work and functions.

That probably explains why the concealer has lasted so long. I threw away the receipt and can't remember the exact price but its somewhere in the range of RM120++.  By the way there’s a new Bobbi Brown concealer kit now which will be my next purchase.
