Bobbi Brown Creamy Eye Concealer

Eye cream (Hylexin Dark Circles Eye Cream) is for the daily nourishment whereas eye mask is to treat the eye area, lets says once or maximum three times in a week (La Colline Eye Mask). A concealer on the other hand is for concealing and disguising the circles and perhaps to reduce puffiness. For people like me with super serious dark circles, concealer is a must. No doubt I have read and heard of concealer but since I have never purchased it before, well, I thought it will be save to get one from Bobbi Brown. I tested a couple of shades and finally agreed with the male promoter that pale yellow is most suited.

So now, lets hear what Bobbi Brown says

Bobbi's secret of the universe Creamy Concealer for anyone who wants an instant pick me-up. It dramatically improves a woman's appearance by covering darkness under the eyes for a brighter, fresher, more well-rested look.

Provides maximum coverage for up to 8 hours without streaking, creasing or changing colour. The creamy concealer formula goes on easily and blends with minimal effort, making the under eye area look smooth and virtually lineless. Bonus: It’s waterproof, sweat and humidity-resistant (without ever being thick).

Using the Concealer Brush (sold separately),  apply Creamy Concealer as close as possible to the lash line, and also on the innermost corner of the eye. Gently blend with your fingers.

Petrolatum, Lecithin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Methyl Methacrylate, Tribehenin, Titanium Dioxide, Iron oxides, Mica, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, and Propylene Glycol Stearate.

This concealer comes in a tiny pot with a mirror. The mirror is handy if you are on the go or for travelling. For me, nothing like applying this concealer by looking at the long big dressing table mirror and because I never touch up during the day at work, it stays on my dressing table. To apply over my eye cream, I dab my ring finger on the concealer, take the smallest amount, dot and gently swipe around my eye area before setting it with compact powder.

As the cream is opaque and creamy, it glides easily and does not dry up. It also packs a pigmented punch to conceal and brighten my dark circles by maintaining the moisture for a smooth look. Truly, I’m impressed. It is somewhat pricey but lasts very long, can be used to the last drop and definitely value for money. Will I repurchase it again? I will decide when it finishes off.
