Mushroom And Vegetable Fritters


Mushrooms are not only a good source of nutrients, they are also reasonably priced. Depending on the type you buy. I buy those I can afford and those easily available at the hypermarkets I go to. Mushrooms are also definitely versatile because various dishes you can make out of them. Fritters of course another seller (Cauliflower FrittersFried Mushroom Rolls), this one is with oyster grey mushrooms, again for the crispy-crunchy munch.

Ingredients
200g oyster grey mushrooms - shred into smaller pieces
100g frozen mixed vegetables
1 tbsp rice flour
1 tbsp corn flour
1 egg
2 stalks spring onions - sliced thinly
Salt and pepper to taste
Water - about 1/2 cup or as needed
Oil for frying

Method:
Into a mixing bowl, add all ingredients
Mix to combine these ingredients together.
Pour water bit by bit and and stir/whisk for a thick runny batter/consistency. . 
Heat oil and spoon the batter a little at a time inside. 
Fry till dark brown in color and drain off excess oil.
Serve while still hot with chilli or any other sauce.

  9. Wow..scrumptious fritters. In this cold weather I wish to have a plate full of these fritters and a cup of tea. Very tempting platter. :)
