Street Food - Fried Chicken (Pattaya, Thailand)

No. We were yet to be satisfied with the amount of food we packed. In fact, we literally wanted to buy back the whole, lock, stock and barrel of Pattaya street food. That’s the problem when you are hungry. We want it all. Whether we can finish all the food, that’s beside the point. 3 packs of Mango sticky rice and 2 packs of Thai mix rice, we didn’t stop or should I say we couldn’t stop. Call it Thai food hunger excitement, between the rows and rows of roadside stalls, our next pick was Thai fried chicken. Fried there and then, smell of the various types of fried food potentially killing us loudly and softly.

We settled for fried chicken. Forever the temptation. We actually couldn’t even wait to return to Amata Spring Club, we pinched into it. Oh-heaven, crispy skin and tender meat underneath, fried food, whichever type is always a joy. Fried food too I believe is rather save. Gems are killed after frying, then again, I may be wrong and the next question is what about the oil? How many times has been recycled? Over and over food fried in the same oil? Still, I think it is still a save bet, if street fried food is a once a while treat. Not only in Thailand, literally elsewhere too. We definitely, indeed, enjoyed this fried chicken. Crispy yum factor.

  11. This vendor has beautiful presentation and it looks clean. I would have tried his food. I have actually been eating at local restaurants and had a cockroach crawl up the wall and even on the table once. So, yes, I would probably give the street vendor a chance. When some of my relatives came to the U.S. from Greece, that is how they started out as street vendors and eventually saved enough money to have their own restaurant.
