That's right, we like change. When it comes to food, we say yes to different types of food. Of course we have our favorites but then again, we need that change in eating other varieties of food as well. We need rice at least for one meal every day and rest is rotating between noodles and bread. Rice is always our choice for lunch and dinner will be followed with noodles or bread. So, it was bread in the form of burger buns and patties made from mushrooms.
For the burger patties, I used button mushrooms, chopped, flavored with mint leaves, added in other ingredients and shaped into mini patties. I don't know and have never baked burger buns before......hence I bought a packet of wholemeal mini burger buns. The light and moist patties were placed in the burger buns and generously topped with colorful vegetables.
This super-satisfying mini mushrooms burgers were a big change, a healthy and nutritional makeover as per the ingredients used and the method of preparation.

ReplyDeleteBeing a carnivour at heart,I like my burgers with beef in it, but after eating Nava's burger, you hardly know it's vegetarian, just like the real thing and very satisfying, upon biting the bun, you're engulfed with all sorts of aroma, from the variety and richness of ingredients used and with each bite it gets more and more satisfying, crunching into the full bodied mushrooms and other chewable stuff, you're eating merrily away and feeling mighty satisfied and sated, exactly how you should feel after a good burger meal, who knew vegetarian could taste this good and gives you such a full feeling, and to think its healthy to boot!
