We stepped out of Cheng Hoon Teng Temple and walked further down the same street. From a distance before reaching the corner of Jalan Tukang Emas, Kampung Kling Mosque was noticeable. I walked towards the mosque and ended up right in front of the signboard. The synopsis on the signboard was good enough to digest the facts on the mosque.

We were contented admiring the mosque from outside and none of us suggested that we should get inside to see the details of this place. The mosque is not large and a few minutes is enough to look around. The obvious features of the mosque were the pagoda like minaret,
Chinese ceramic tiles, on the floor and lower walls
plus the roof top ornaments, also known as mastaka.
From here, we continued walking to look out for more historical sites and sure enough there were other interesting places we discovered. Stay tune for our next sharing on those places we ventured into.
