Restaurant Makbul Nasi Kandar - (Taipan, Subang Jaya)

Here we were - back at Taipan but way earlier to clear some of the pending things. Done and then we walked to this restaurant, another prominent landmark at this area and noticeable from the main road. For the early meal or brunch, choices were there - the usual roti canai, tosai, mee goreng but the piping hot just cooked dishes for a rice meal we opted for.

Being among the earliest customers, the line moved very quickly, we chose the dishes and carried the plates to the nearest empty table at the pavement. Thereafter ordered sky juice and teh tarik and tucked into the meal.

The dishes my half-half opted for -  fresh bawal generously lathered with curry and simply fried cabbage. A good meal he commented especially the spicy delicious curry.
I other the hand was in the mood for a full-blown meal, thus, I had beriyani rice with lamb intestine curry, long beans stir fried with coconut and carrot, ikan bilis/anchovies sambal/gravy and generous scoops of a few types of curries.
Tender and nicely cleaned  intestines were loveable, the ikan bilis sambal another tasty dish and these eaten with mildly flavoured rice and the two types of veggies, quite a sensational meal.  While the ambiance is just like another restaurant, pleasant service and indeed, affordable (RM21.60). Though this was our first time here, certainly it won't be the last.
