Restaurant Makbul Nasi Kandar - (Taipan, Subang Jaya)

Here we were, back at Taipan, way earlier for sorting out some pending issues. Over and done, its time for brunch or an early lunch. We then agreed upon Restaurant Makbul Nasi Kandar, which seemingly is akin a landmark in Taipan, been around for the longest time and once you drive pass the main road, I bet you won't miss seeing it. Surprisingly though, for whatever reason it may have been, we have yet ventured to Restaurant Makbul Nasi Kandar, this time was our first time. Instead of opting for roti canai or whatever they offer for  breakfast or brunch, we didn't bother finding out as well, all that looked tempting couldn't been anything, but their just coming from the kitchen dishes for a rice meal. So, we too stood in front of the food counter among the few who also actually preferred any early rice lunch, we pointed to the dishes which were added over the plate of rice.

Thereafter, to the empty table outside, prior to calling for teh tarik and sky juice. Served within the next few minutes, we dug into our rice meal.

Fresh bawal/black and coming with it curry and simply cooked cabbage, eaten with rice, my other commented that its a spicy, delicious and good till the last finger scooping meal. He basically enjoyed every bit of it. .
I on the other hand, call it my "greedy hunger" eyes syndrome, my plate was filled. Beriyani rice, lamb intestine curry, long beans stir fried with coconut and carrot, stir fried cabbage, ikan bilis/anchovies sambal/gravy and generous scoops of a few types of curries.
Tender and nicely cleaned  intestine was loveable, ikan bilis sambal too as per my liking, eaten with the mildly flavoured rice and two types of veggies, oh-yes, quite a sensational meal. Not a regret we dined in Restaurant Makbul Nasi Kandar. Attentive service, ambiance seemingly was clean and its definitely an affordable meal (RM21.60). Maybe, I can't really say, perhaps if we are back at Taipan, we won't mind another early lunch in  Restaurant Makbul Nasi Kandar.
