Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa - Penang (Malaysia) - Part 2

I was not interesting in any sightseeing for my two days weekend holiday in Penang.  All I wanted do was to lay back and enjoy the moments of staying at Rasa Sayang. In between resting and reading a book while sitting on the balcony, the time almost hit pass 6pm.  With the sun slowly disappearing, I came down to the ground floor and took a stroll all over the huge open area of this resort.  How nice it was to discover that an old trishaw was part of the deco facing the
water fountain

and the unique sitting chair placed in between the huge bamboo plants.
Not to be missed was more plants surrounding all over the different blocks of rooms.
While walking around, nature called so I looked out for the sign leading towards the toilet and oh my!!! even this section of the ladies was sensuously blooming with plants.
I then walked towards the beach and with the many water activities going on, the water scooter rides were obviously the most favourite.

As it was getting dark, I make a detour and back to the room.  I flipped open the brochure on the beauty treatments available at this resort and tried making an appointment for body pampering and massage. Since the spa could not squeeze in my request, it was on the list for next day.  Do look out for the details of the spa treatment I experienced which will be posted soon.

  1. While I do love adventurous travels, it is a nice break just to do some plain old relaxing. Your hotel does look like the perfect place for that. Nice atmosphere! Also, a few spa treatment will make you feel brand new. Enjoy my friend!

  6. How much did it cost for the stay? Looks like a great resort but afraid that the room does not have enough sound-proofing if you know what I mean heheh

  7. What a pretty facility--and I know what you mean, sometimes you just want to relax on vacation rather than seeing everything.
