Pumpkin Pecan Brulee (Eggless)

Before I get shot down because of the not so pretty pictures, I apologise. As said in Pumpkin Cake and Pumpkin Jelly, I am still learning how to use my camera. I suppose its "practice makes perfect" thingy. Ok let me work on that while inventing new recipes. I made this dessert - just like that with what was available at home. Didn't know what to call and eventually named as brulee.

Its made with pumpkin, buttery crumble, pecan nuts and coarse sugar and with a layering technic - as you like with whichever comes first but don't forget that the finale should be sugar.

Layer 1
300g boiled and mashed pumpkin

Layer 2
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup salted butter
Crumble both either by using a food processor or by hand.

Layer 3
150g pecan nuts - crushed

1/2 cup demerara sugar

(Note: Its up to you on how you would like to layer the brulee with the four layers - which is first and how you like to pack it together)
You  need 4 small ramekins or oven proof pyrex, otherwise make one big brulee.
Greased the ramekins/pyrex or baking pan.
Press the whole portion of crumble or a little into the container.
Over it, sprinkle some pecan.
And then spread a layer of pumpkin.
Again sprinkle some pecan.
Top with a sprinkle of sugar.
Bake at 175C for about 15 mins.
(Note: baking time varies depending on size of container.
