FROZEN SMORES ICY COCOA SHAKE

Thank you to my facebook friend Lisa Green for sharing this recipe on our blog. Here's how Lisa started with the opening words of ------- Great for winter"

This frosty chocolate shake will make you feel cozy all winter long. This cocoa is ice-blended for a cool crisp flavor. Add some smores accents like marshmellow, graham crackers, or gingersnap crumbles. IF YOU ARE A VEGAN...buy vegan marshmellows & graham crackers. Makes 2 servings :)

2 Tbsp cocoa mix

2 cups vanilla soy/hemp/coconut ice cream

1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup vanilla soy milk
1/4 cup ice cubes
1 frozen banana (opt'l)

Blend until smooth. Pour. Garnish. Serve

This recipe was shared with me last year. I found out that diet shakes are a great way to feel full while at the same time getting the nutritional value necessary for me to live a healthy life. Most of the time, I add my CHOCOLATE WHEY PROTEIN POWDER and just adjust a "smidgen."

  4. Banana, coconut and chocolate-yum! That alone is enough to get my approval but the accents of the graham and marshmallow are great additions. Glad Lisa was nice enough to share the recipe for this tasty shake! Have a great day!
