Old Town Coffee (Subang Avenue, Subang Jaya)

When my lunch partner suggested that we can have our early lunch at this eatery, I was fine with it as I have not been to this outlet though have tried Old Town Coffee at other locations. The layout and ambience was eye catchy as it looked more like a cosy and posh restaurant.

We headed upstairs and found a comfortable area to be seated and then the search began on what to order.
My partner was sort of fixed on ordering the Nasi Lemak Special and Mocha White Coffee but I took some time to decide on what would be my meal. Flipping through the menu aimlessly, finally it was the Curry Mee and Orange Fizzy Float.
The nasi lemak was served with generous portions of the sides and a piece of fried chicken.  My Partner was in high notes enjoying his nasi lemak and claimed that this is one of the best he has tasted although not the first time here.
I liked how the Mocha White Coffee was served with that contrast of colors and not a single complaint from my partner who was happily sipping the drink.
The curry mee did not lack in power, but the gravy was a bit of cold for me and that did put me off, you know for me noodles must come with pipping hot gravy to be eaten.
This Orange Fizzy Float was heaven,  you bet the fizzy orangy taste with the ice-cream was soothing and cooling for the blasting hot weather outside.

I will not jump up and down about my experience here but an acceptable one although a bit disappointed as  the curry mee was a let down.  I think it was worth paying RM29.50 all in for our food venture at this eatery.

  1. Nava...that looks like a wonderful lunch you shared with your friend. Especially those drinks! I think both looked equally good! (Though I think I would have chosen the Orange Fizzy Float, too!) Thanks for your Thanksgiving wishes today and I hope you have a really wonderful day for yourself! : )
