The Manila Foodshoppe - Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines

First and foremost, thank you to Ms. Charloette for sharing this post with us.  Do check out her blog at  Love2 Type where you will find many other interesting and intriguing postings as well.  She brings us today her experience of having dined at one of the eateries situated from where she is from - Philippines.

Team bonding with colleagues was held at the Manila Foodshoppe located in Gaisano Mactan Island Mall, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines. Actually, we just escaped for an hour from the office to have our bonding.

It’s my first time to dine at Manila Foodshoppe and I love the place too. It’s what I call “Pang-Masang Restaurant” or Restaurant for the Majority since environment and price are not that intimidating. Of course the food was delicious too and people were attentive even the manager.

As expected, the place was packed.

These were our orders:Chopsuey Guisado (2): 105**2 = 210Beef Steak (2): 127*2 = 254Pancit Canton = 107Tanghon Guisado = 114Sweet & Sour Pork (2): 113*2 = 226Fried Chicken = 155Garlic Rice (2): 79*2 = 158Plain Rice (3): 17*3 = 51Fish Fillet with Garlic Mayo Sauce (2): 120*2 = 240

Softdrinks: 30.00 (Light Coke, Regular Coke, Sprite, Royal) = 11 heads = 330
Total: 1845.00 / 11 = 167.7 each

  4. Ohhh, Cebu - one of the most beautiful destinations in the Philippines! It one of those places where I always want to be assigned to go to when I was still working at China Bank in the Philippines...and it is in Shangri-la Mactan where my husband and I had our honeymoon!
Manila Foodshoppe wasn't in Gaisano Mall yet the last time I was there...I'll surely pay this resto a visit the next time I get the chance to go there!
    Thanks for sharing this, Nava!
