Coron Island - Pahlawan,Philippines

(Guess Post by Charlotte (love2type)

If you have been to Philippines before, specifically to Coron Island, then this article will bring back all the wonderful memories of your holiday here.  If not, maybe you can consider making a trip some time in the near future. Here's how to get there and what this paradise holds for you...............................................

I am very proud and happy that this paradise located in Palawan is a property of PHILIPPINES!  If you look at it in the map, it's just a few miles away from the disputed Spratlys island but thankfully, no other country is trying to lay claim on this one.  Anyway, sad to say that I've never been to this paradise myself too. Care to join me? It's as easy as 1, 2 and 3.

1. Get a flight to Ninoy International Airport or NAIA in Manila. If you are from Malaysia, Airasia makes it convenient for you to reach Philippines via Clark and just hop on a bus to get you to Manila bus terminal.  From there, walk towards Sogo Hotel near Taft Avenue MRT 3 Station because at the back of that hotel is the airport shuttle that will take you to NAIA terminal 3 for only 20 pesos.
2. Get a flight to Busuanga.  Cebu Pacific Airlines or Air Philippine express are two of Philippine's budget airlines that will take you to Busuanga from NAIA terminal 3.  As most things in Philippines, be ready to shell out 200 - 750 pesos for terminal fees.
3. Enjoy Coron.  The best thing to do in Coron is to hire a boat for island hopping where you get to explore many islands in just 1 day.   If you don't want to waste your time haggling for boats, you might want to check this out:

The best time to explore Coron is during summer from March to May where tropical storm is rare. So what are you waiting for?  Let's hop in and explore Coron, Palawan together.
