Grilled Spicy Prawns

Cleaning prawns is a big story but cooking them is just so fast. I admit I don't really enjoy the cleaning because of time factor. Perhaps that's why I only cook prawns once a while or can also be said that they are not really our favorite. Even so, a prawn dish must be spicy as a side dish for rice. Unlike the previous Prawn Devil Curry or Belacan Sambal Prawns, for this grilled version, you need at least an hour(excluding the cleaning) mainly to marinate the prawns. Thereafter the option can be between grilling over a stove portable grill, pan frying on a non-stick pan or grilled over the grilling pit for barbecue parties. Absolutely certain, these grilled succulent spicy prawns are divinely delicious.

Ingredients (A)
150g medium size prawns - de-vein and leave the tail on
1 tsp ginger paste (or ginger powder)
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tbsp olive oil
Salt for taste

Serve with (optional)
Cooked white rice
Zucchini slices
Chilli sauce

Mix prawns with the ingredients listed in A.
Marinate and leave in the fridge for an hour.
Next, heat a nonstick portable grill, drizzle olive oil in and grill prawns on both sides to cook.
Enjoy these grilled prawns by themselves or with rice, zucchini and chili sauce.
