ChillOut Bistro & Restaurant - Subang Parade, Subang Jaya

A small get together with close colleagues is looked forward to at the end of the semester. Nothing fancy or over the top, usually lunch is at the nearby eateries and that reasonably priced as well. When one of the colleagues suggested ChilliOut for the RM10.00 set lunch, well, everyone agreed it is a pretty darn deal. Waiting for each other to finish up work and by the time we arrived at about 1.30pm., disappointed we were for we had to sit right at the end in the large and airy ambiance and service never came until after 10 minutes.

Between the choices of set lunch on this Friday, three colleagues opted for the Rendang Kampung Style whereas two opted for the Pasta Chicken Carbonara and the only taker for Tandoori Chicken Sandwich was myself. And as suggested by the staff, we also didn't mind paying RM2.00 for the soup of the day. Arriving soon was the pumpkin soup - thick, creamy and impressively flavourful though it was slightly cold. Still, we slurped all up.
The tandoori chicken sandwich was nicely packed with masala chicken slices, salad leaves, cucumber slices and dressed with creamy sauce, also accompanied with fried fries. Well, not the best but still it will get a pass - quite a big portion,  filling and I liked the freshness of the veggies.
The beef rendang set lunch that came with rice, cucumber salad and papadam, the colleagues were happy with. Rendang with succulent meat cooked in a traditional manner especially was raved about.
The other colleagues who tucked into the pasta cooked with a creamy sauce and paired with a toast didn't disappointed either. Within 20 minutes, we eat and we left. Hopefully, if we return again to ChillOut,  we will make it a point to arrive earlier so that we don't have to rush through with the meal and we don't have be kept waiting for service.
