My friend opted for its Saba Shio set which came with lots of side dishes. The two pieces of saba fish were lightly salted and grilled. It managed to retained the tasty fish oil and juiciness within.
I'm not quite sure what exactly is this but it somehow seem like an appetiser with bit of fish skin in. Most people who have had Japanese cuisine before will know the pickled radish and ginger. Last but not least, the set has one chawanmushi and a bowl of miso soup. Both were decent. Not nothing much to shout about.
As for me, I had the Tempura Soba, which is one of my favourites. The soba here is no different than the regular Japanese places such as Sakae Sushi and Sushi Zanmai. The soup is shoyu-based and the mixed tempura items came separately.
There were two prawns and a good mix of vegetable tempura. The items were crispy and went nicely with the noodles. The set was bout RM29-32 and the soba was priced at RM23.
Not too bad. I wouldn't mind coming back to try their raw items.
